Why Taylor Swift was at the Chiefs-Dolphins game
Swift came to Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Contemporary Associated Press coverage described the January 13 matchup as their first game together that year. The game was Kansas City’s AFC Wild Card contest against Miami.
What happened in the game
Kansas City defeated Miami 26–7. Kelce finished with seven catches for 71 receiving yards and no touchdowns, according to Sporting News. Those are his statistics for this game, not evidence that Swift’s attendance affected his performance.
What Taylor Swift wore
An Associated Press preview of the 2024 Super Bowl identified Swift’s puffy winter coat from the frigid Kansas City playoff game as a custom design by Kristin Juszczyk. The coat featured Kelce’s No. 87. That description establishes the designer and details of Swift’s outfit; it does not establish that an identical jacket was sold to fans.
