Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce danced to “Love Story” at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas, where they continued celebrating after the Chiefs’ overtime win. The pair were reported to be in the club’s DJ booth, surrounded by friends and other celebrants.
Good Morning America’s contemporaneous video report showed Swift and Kelce dancing and singing along. Swift later shared a video involving Kelce and her parents. Her caption, as reported by ABC News, joked: “Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life.” The post establishes Swift’s own humorous framing of the family outing, but it should not be treated as proof of every detail reported about the nightclub celebration.

The Chiefs had just defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25–22 in overtime in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11, 2024. The winning score was a three-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to Mecole Hardman. The Kansas City Chiefs’ official Super Bowl LVIII game page and the NFL’s official game summary record the 25–22 overtime result.

What version of “Love Story” played at the Super Bowl after-party?
Reports identified the song as “Love Story,” but the audio was described as a remix or bass-heavy remix. No available source in the reporting definitively establishes an official remix title, DJ, or recording credit for the exact edit heard in the footage. The safest description is therefore “a remix of ‘Love Story,’” not a specific DJ version.

Swift originally released “Love Story” during her Fearless era. Apple Music identifies Fearless (Taylor’s Version) as a 2021 album and lists “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” among its tracks. The physical Fearless (Taylor’s Version) CD is a song-related keepsake for listeners who want the re-recorded track; the CD is not a recording of the Super Bowl after-party or a release of the nightclub footage.

|---|---|
| What song was identified? | “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. |
| Was the recording an original studio version? | Reports described the club audio as a remix or bass-heavy remix. |
| Was the exact remix officially identified? | Not by the available contemporaneous reports. |
| Where can the re-recorded song be found? | “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” appears on Fearless (Taylor’s Version), released in 2021. |
Why is the field celebration often confused with the nightclub dance?
The confusion comes from the timing. Swift was present in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII and was seen with Kelce after the Chiefs’ win at Allegiant Stadium. The specific “Love Story” dance, however, refers to later footage from XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas. Separating the two locations makes the sequence clear: victory at the stadium, followed by a nightclub celebration.
The game itself took place at Allegiant Stadium, while the reported dance took place at Wynn Las Vegas. Swift and Kelce’s postgame appearance at the stadium and their later club appearance were part of the same night but were not the same event.
What is known—and not known—from the videos?
The videos support the central account: Swift and Kelce were together at the after-party, danced in the DJ booth, and sang along to “Love Story.” ABC News reported the kiss, and Good Morning America reported the nightclub’s statement about the 5:15 a.m. departure. The footage does not establish a complete timeline of the entire celebration or conclusively identify the precise remix edit.

- A3 - The Beautiful Ones
- A4 - Computer Blue
- A5 - Darling Nikki
That distinction matters because short social clips can show a recognizable moment without documenting everything that happened before or after it. The most accurate account is that contemporaneous reports and circulated videos showed Swift and Kelce celebrating at XS Nightclub after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.
For the original event coverage, readers can compare the Entertainment Tonight video report with the ABC News and Good Morning America reporting. The reports agree on the central details while leaving the exact remix identification unresolved.
