T-Mobile’s TVision LIVE and VIBE are no longer available. The company launched its TVision streaming packages nationwide on November 1, 2020, then announced that it would wind down LIVE and VIBE on April 29, 2021. YouTube TV and Philo were positioned as replacement partners at the time; that did not make them permanent TVision services, and old promotional terms should not be assumed to remain active.
The name can also refer to TVision Home, T-Mobile’s earlier pay-TV product, or to TVision Insights, a separate television-measurement company. Those are different things.
What was T-Mobile TVision?
TVision was T-Mobile’s attempt to make television feel less like a traditional cable bundle. Its 2020 streaming initiative combined live-TV packages, a lower-cost entertainment package, premium-channel add-ons, and a dedicated streaming device. T-Mobile marketed the service as a no-annual-contract alternative with prices starting at $10 per month. Those prices and package details were launch-era terms, not current offers. T-Mobile’s launch announcement described the packages and features.
TVision was not one product with one plan. The name covered several related offerings, and it is easy to confuse the 2019 pay-TV product with the streaming packages introduced in 2020.

TVision Home was not the same as TVision LIVE

TVision plans and prices at launch
In October 2020, T-Mobile announced the following monthly prices and hardware price. Treat every figure here as historical:

T-Mobile advertised up to three simultaneous streams and 100 hours of cloud DVR for LIVE, and up to two simultaneous streams for VIBE. These were launch claims, not specifications for an operating service today. Channel availability and package lineups could vary by product and date; an old channel list or pricing page should not be treated as a current offer.

The subscription price was not necessarily the whole household cost. Viewers still needed internet access, and premium add-ons, other subscriptions, hardware, taxes, eligibility rules, or expiring promotions could affect the total.

On March 29, 2021, T-Mobile announced that it would wind down TVision LIVE and VIBE on April 29, 2021. The company said it would shift from running its own live-TV service toward helping customers access established streaming providers. At the time, it positioned YouTube TV as its premium live-TV partner and Philo as a lower-cost entertainment option. The transition announcement sets out that change.

T-Mobile’s stated explanation was that customers wanted help navigating existing streaming services rather than another standalone service. Broader explanations—such as the crowded live-TV market, the complexity and cost of channel rights, and the importance of particular sports, local channels, and DVR features—are reasonable context, but should be understood as analysis rather than a confirmed account of T-Mobile’s internal decision-making.
Can you still sign up for T-Mobile TVision?
No—not for the original TVision LIVE or VIBE packages. They were wound down in 2021 and are not current standalone T-Mobile channel packages. T-Mobile may still host legacy pages, legal terms, or pages using TVision branding to describe partner offers. Their existence does not establish that the original service can be ordered.

Likewise, search results may preserve the old $10 VIBE price, $40–$60 LIVE prices, or historical promotion details. They are not evidence of current availability. For present-day streaming offers, check the provider’s signup page and, if you are a T-Mobile customer, verify any eligibility or discount in your T-Mobile account. An older Philo promotion is no longer available, and its redemption deadlines had passed by 2023, according to T-Mobile’s support page.
What replaced TVision?
In 2021, T-Mobile directed customers toward two partners with different intended uses:

- YouTube TV: Positioned as the premium live-TV alternative for viewers seeking a broad mix of channels, including sports and news. Whether it suits you depends on your local channel lineup, sports needs, device support, and the price after any promotion. See YouTube TV’s official site for current terms.
- Philo: Positioned as a lower-cost entertainment-focused service, rather than a complete cable replacement. It is a poor fit if you need local broadcast stations, major live sports, or regional sports networks. Check Philo’s official site for current plans and terms.
The partner discounts announced in 2021 were promotional, not a promise of permanent discounted access. Current prices, renewals, and T-Mobile eligibility can change. Compare the full price after promotions, the channels you actually watch, DVR rules, simultaneous streams, and local availability. Other live-TV services—including Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, and DIRECTV STREAM—may be comparison candidates, but their channel lineups and terms should be checked directly. If you do not need a full live-TV package, free ad-supported services may be enough.
What can you do with a TVision HUB today?
The TVision HUB was an Android TV-based streaming device that T-Mobile said could run apps beyond TVision. That historical design does not establish which apps, software updates, security support, or account features work on a particular used unit now. Those details depend on the device’s condition and current support, which should be checked before buying or relying on one.
- Owning a HUB does not restore TVision LIVE or VIBE.
- Do not buy one on a seller’s claim that it can access an active TVision subscription.
- If you already own one, evaluate it as older streaming hardware: check whether it boots, can be reset, connects to your network, and supports the apps you intend to use.
- Compare its condition and capabilities with currently supported streaming devices before paying for a used unit.
T-Mobile’s original TVision app was announced for a range of devices—including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Fire TV, Android TV, and Google TV—but that is a historical compatibility list, not a current support list.

Do not confuse T-Mobile TVision with TVision Insights
TVision Insights is a separate business, not T-Mobile’s former streaming service or its successor. It measures television and connected-TV viewing and advertising, including viewer presence, attention, co-viewing, and engagement.
