Which episodes are in Volume 2?
Volume 2 contains three episodes:
- Episode 5: “Chapter Five: Shock Jock”
- Episode 6: “Chapter Six: Escape from Camazotz”
- Episode 7: “Chapter Seven: The Bridge”
The episode titles were announced through Netflix’s official Stranger Things coverage. They are safe to use as a spoiler-light guide, although episode explainers and behind-the-scenes articles may contain major plot details.
Was Volume 2 released on December 25 or December 26?
Both dates can be correct, depending on where you live. Netflix released Volume 2 simultaneously worldwide. In the United States and much of the Americas, the local date was December 25, 2025. In Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, the same release moment fell on December 26 because of the time difference.
For example, viewers in India received the episodes at 6:30 a.m. IST on Friday, December 26, 2025. Viewers in the United Kingdom and much of continental Europe also saw the batch during the early hours of December 26. This was not a delayed regional launch.
How Netflix split the final season
Stranger Things Season 5 was the eight-episode final season, released in three parts:
Rank #2
- Ultra-speedy streaming: Roku Ultra is 30% faster than any other Roku player, delivering a lightning-fast interface and apps that launch in a snap.
- Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio.
- The ultimate Roku remote: The rechargeable Roku Voice Remote Pro offers backlit buttons, hands-free voice controls, and a lost remote finder.
- No more fumbling in the dark: See what you’re pressing with backlit buttons.
- Say goodbye to batteries: Keep your remote powered for months on a single charge.
- Volume 1: Episodes 1–4, released November 26, 2025, in the United States.
- Volume 2: Episodes 5–7, released December 25, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET in the United States.
- The Finale: Episode 8, released separately on December 31, 2025, in the United States.
The finale was not part of Volume 2. If you are looking for the ending, you need the separately released eighth episode rather than the three-episode Christmas batch.
Did Episodes 5, 6, and 7 have different release times?
No. Netflix launched all three Volume 2 episodes at the same time. Once the batch went live, Episodes 5, 6, and 7 were available together to viewers in the relevant region.
If an episode did not immediately appear in the Netflix app, closing and reopening the app, signing out and back in, or checking the title page in a web browser could refresh the listing. Those steps would not change the official release time; they only address a delayed app display or device refresh.
What was the complete Stranger Things Season 5 schedule?

Netflix used the same 5:00 p.m. Pacific release convention for the season’s volumes. The calendar date changed in some countries because the release was simultaneous globally.
