The dates in the listings are territory-specific historical release information, not upcoming schedules.
What the new trailer listing confirms
The Australian listing establishes its publication date, “New Trailer” label and advertised cinema date. Sony’s official film synopsis supplies the story context: survivors live on a small island linked to the mainland by a heavily defended causeway. When one survivor undertakes a mission on the mainland, he encounters secrets, wonders and horrors involving both infected people and other survivors.
The Australian video page could not be verified for its scene-by-scene content, so the listing alone does not establish what footage appears in this later trailer. Sony’s description of the first trailer should not be treated as a description of the April 2025 video.
Is this the first trailer for 28 Years Later?
No. Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan announced the first trailer and international poster worldwide on December 10, 2024. Sony Pictures Releasing Australia later published its “New Trailer” listing on April 17, 2025. The official listings confirm two separate trailer releases, but do not support a comparison of their footage or story emphasis.

These are past dates, not current showtime information.
