The family posted the pictures on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Aidan was born the previous day, Saturday, June 18. In the caption reproduced by Us Weekly, Chelsea wrote: “At 7:41 AM Saturday, our family and hearts expanded with Aidan’s arrival. We are blessed.”

Who was in the family photos?
The images introduced Aidan as the second child of Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky. Their older child, daughter Charlotte, was also part of the family context reported at the time.

How the hospital photos were different
Press photographs taken the next day are a separate moment from the family’s first social-media pictures. On June 20, 2016, the family was photographed leaving Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Just Jared reported the departure, and a Getty Images caption identified family members pictured leaving the hospital.
