Yes. Before starring in Reacher, Alan Ritchson played Arthur Curry—the Smallville version of Aquaman—in the 2005 episode “Aqua.” The episode introduced him as a strong swimmer who rescues Lois Lane and has business involving Lex Luthor.
Alan Ritchson played Aquaman in Smallville
Ritchson’s first cited appearance as Arthur Curry is “Aqua,” Smallville season 5, episode 4. Apple TV lists the episode’s release date as October 20, 2005, and its runtime as 39 minutes. Its cast listing credits Ritchson as Arthur Curry, while the synopsis describes him saving Lois from drowning and pursuing a secret agenda involving Lex. Apple TV’s episode listing
Who was Arthur “A.C.” Curry in “Aqua”?
The episode presents Curry as an unusually capable swimmer whose rescue of Lois brings him into the story. He is not simply a guest character passing through: the synopsis also points to his own agenda, tied to Lex Luthor.
Ritchson returned to the role in later Smallville episodes
Smallville Wiki identifies Ritchson’s character as Arthur Curry/Aquaman and notes that he reprised the role after “Aqua,” including in “Justice.” A DC Database entry also lists Ritchson as the character in Smallville. These fan-maintained references provide secondary corroboration; Apple TV’s episode credit is the direct evidence for his “Aqua” appearance.

He was not the lead in the separate Aquaman pilot
Ritchson’s Aquaman role was in Smallville. It is distinct from a separately produced Aquaman pilot: Smallville Wiki identifies Justin Hartley as Arthur Curry in that pilot. The two productions are easy to conflate because both centered on the same DC character, but they were separate projects with different actors.
