Michelin’s six-part documentary series Racing on Trust – A Decade of Michelin in MotoGP looks back at the company’s return to MotoGP in 2016 through the people who worked and competed in the championship. Michelin announced the first two episodes for October 8, 2026, on its YouTube channels, followed by weekly releases on Thursdays at 2 p.m.; the announcement does not specify a time zone, so check the channel for current availability.
What is Racing on Trust about?
The series is Michelin’s retrospective on 11 seasons of its involvement in MotoGP as tyre supplier. Michelin says 25 contributors—including riders, team managers, championship executives, journalists and Michelin Motorsport specialists—tell the story from their perspectives. Its stated focus is not only tyre technology, but also the trust required between riders, teams and engineers under the pressures of competition.

That framing comes from Michelin, the producer. The announcement presents the films as a look back at the company’s role in the championship, rather than as an independent history or review.
Which riders and paddock figures take part?
Michelin names Valentino Rossi, Marc Márquez and Johann Zarco among the participants. According to the company, Rossi reflects on the closing chapter of his career, Márquez discusses his accident and return to the highest level, and Zarco recounts his Le Mans victory. Those are Michelin’s descriptions of their contributions; the announcement does not provide individual quotations.
