It was developed by The Wand Company under Fallout licensing and sold through Bethesda Gear Store channels. Bethesda’s product listing and The Wand Company’s announcement present it as an interactive, wearable collectible.
It is a different category from a simple novelty clock or an unpowered cosplay shell. Earlier Fallout merchandise included a Pip-Boy-style clock in the Fallout 3 Survival Edition; this replica adds a screen, mechanical controls, rechargeable power, radio, flashlight and built-in interface content. Its appeal lies in that combination of licensed prop, interactive collectible and usable clock—not in replacing a modern computer or phone.
Construction, size and what the weight means
The replica combines a die-cast metal front housing with an injection-molded ABS body and a foam-lined cuff. Its 3.5-inch, 320 × 480 IPS LCD sits behind a clear Tritan screen. The included display stand is machined aluminum. Bethesda lists the unit at approximately 178 × 130 × 130 mm and 724 g, before the stand or packaging. The product is intended for ages 14 and up. The unit functions as a timepiece and includes an alarm. Worn on the arm, the time is available through its interface; on the stand, it can serve as a desk or nightstand clock. It is one device in two display/use modes, not a separate watch and clock. Its clock function is useful, but the product is primarily a themed replica rather than a precision-focused horological purchase. Browse Fallout-style menus
The screen presents Fallout-inspired status, statistics, items and data sections. The Wand Company’s manual says the replica contains more than 40 screens and thousands of menu entries across modes inspired by Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Physical buttons and selector controls move through the interface; it is not a touchscreen tablet or smartphone. A radiation meter is among the themed display elements. The menus reproduce the fictional experience locally: the device is not documented as reading game saves or displaying live data from a Fallout game. Play Atomic Command
The built-in Atomic Command is a small novelty minigame that runs on the device. It is not a general-purpose gaming platform and does not run Fallout 3, New Vegas, Fallout 4 or Fallout 76. Bethesda lists the minigame among the replica’s features on its product page.

The replica has an FM radio and a two-watt speaker. The charging dongle doubles as an antenna; connecting a USB cable can extend antenna performance and may help with weaker broadcasts. The interface can also play an in-universe broadcast associated with fictional station KPSS. Use the LED flashlight
An LED flashlight is built in. It adds a practical prop feature, but the official materials do not establish it as a substitute for a dedicated outdoor light. Bethesda and The Wand Company list the feature in their product information and press release.

Wearing it, charging it and using the controls
The manual recommends putting the device on while seated, with the opened Pip-Boy resting on a soft surface. Insert the left forearm, then close the cuff carefully and check that the catch is secured. The included spacer bar increases the cuff diameter for some wearers, but it cannot guarantee a comfortable fit for every arm. People with a larger forearm, an unusual wrist-to-forearm shape or limited hand mobility should consider the cuff carefully before buying. The printable manual provides the manufacturer’s fitting guidance.
Navigation uses physical controls, including STATS, ITEMS and DATA buttons, a page selector, scroll wheel and thumbwheel. The controls are part of the prop experience; this is not a touch-first interface.

- Before first use, charge the Pip-Boy for approximately five hours using the included USB-C cable and a suitable 5V-powered USB outlet.
- Connect the cable to the rear charging socket. The four slots beneath the screen pulse orange while charging and glow steadily when the charge is complete.
- To use the radio, rotate the side selector to RADIO and press the left rotary control to activate it.
- Turn the tuning control to seek frequencies. Press the tuning knob to play the in-universe broadcast.
- If reception is weak, connect the charging dongle or USB cable to improve antenna performance.
The manual recommends charging the unit about every six months during storage to help maintain battery condition. It uses a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, but the available official documentation does not establish a universal operating-time figure across modes or a consumer battery-replacement procedure. Screen brightness, radio and speaker use, flashlight use and standby behavior can affect runtime; long-term battery aging is a consideration for collectors. Keep the cable and manual with the device. The stand makes it a desk clock and display piece
The included machined-aluminum stand supports the Pip-Boy as a desk or nightstand clock and gives collectors a way to display it without wearing it. Bethesda lists the stand, USB-C charging cable, FM-radio external antenna cable, cuff spacer bar, RobCo hex tool and user manual among the box contents, along with the replica itself. The stand is therefore part of the intended use, not just packing material. The official listing gives the included accessories.

Bethesda also sells a separate replica based on the Pip-Boy design in the Amazon Fallout television series. It is not simply a cheaper version of the same device: the designs come from different Fallout eras and the listed feature sets differ.

Price and availability
As checked on October 3, 2026, the U.S. Bethesda Gear Store listed the Pip-Boy 3000 Replica at $299.99, but the individual product page showed it as out of stock and offered back-in-stock notification signup. A listed price is not a promise that it can currently be ordered; no restock date is established. Check the individual U.S. product page for its current status.
The international Bethesda store has displayed different U.S.-currency-equivalent prices—approximately $353 on one listing and $349 on another—and also showed the product out of stock. Taxes, shipping, currency conversion and regional store rules can change the amount at checkout; an item-only ordering restriction has appeared on a localized page. Treat those figures as regional listing snapshots, not a universal price. Check the international listing for current regional terms.
The separate TV-series model was listed at $198.99 on its U.S. product page and was also marked out of stock when checked. That is a different product, not a like-for-like substitute. Its listing is the place to verify its current price and availability.
Who should buy it—and who should pass
A good fit for collectors and cosplayers
- Choose it if you specifically want the Fallout 3/New Vegas Pip-Boy, physical controls and a substantial display object.
- It makes the most sense for collecting, photography, themed-room display or short cosplay sessions, where visual authenticity and interaction matter more than lightweight comfort.
- The included stand, clock, menus, radio, flashlight and minigame give it more to do than a static prop, but those functions are secondary to its collectible character.
Reasons to skip it
- Skip it if you want notifications, health sensors, GPS, fitness tracking, cellular connectivity, app installation or phone integration: these are not documented features.
- Look elsewhere if you need lightweight all-day wear, guaranteed immediate availability, or a device bought chiefly for radio or flashlight performance.
- Choose a conventional smartwatch for practical wearable utility, understanding that it will not reproduce the physical Fallout prop experience.
- Consider a fan-made or 3D-printed replica only with the understanding that licensing, finish, electronics, reliability, safety and included functions can differ substantially from this official product.
For a discontinued or out-of-stock collectible, inflated secondary-market prices carry collector-market risks, uncertain warranty coverage and possible missing accessories. Waiting for an official restock is the lower-risk route if you want this exact licensed replica.
