Disney first revealed the returning voice cast and linked teaser art at New York Comic Con on October 17, 2024, when it was still describing the season as planned for 2025.
What Disney revealed about the revival
On October 17, 2024, Disney Branded Television announced the voice cast for what it calls Phineas and Ferb Season 5 and linked teaser art. The announcement described a new run of 104 days of summer: Phineas and Ferb are back to their ambitious projects, Candace is still trying to bust them, and Perry continues his double life as Agent P while taking on Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh returned as executive producers. Disney’s announcement also described the series as a five-time Emmy Award winner.
The original teaser-art link belongs to that October cast announcement. Disney later promoted the revival with a separate trailer and new key art in April 2025; its June retrospective captioned key art showing the characters playing instruments onstage. Those later images should not be mistaken for a description of the October teaser art, whose composition Disney’s reviewed announcement did not specify.

When did the new season come out?
The 2024 announcement gave a planned year, not a premiere date. Disney confirmed the June schedule on April 3, 2025, and later confirmed the first broadcast premiere in its June retrospective.

Disney’s April schedule also listed June 24 for the first ten-episode batch on Disney+. That listing and the June 5 retrospective do not change the reported June 6 launch of the first ten episodes in the United States and select markets. Disney said additional international markets would follow later in 2025; its reviewed notices do not give a complete country-by-country rollout or establish which episodes are currently available in every region. Episode count and what is known about the revival
The Associated Press reported on May 28, 2025, that Disney Branded Television ordered 40 episodes in 2023. The June release was staged rather than a single full-season drop: the confirmed early batches were two broadcast episodes and the first ten episodes on Disney+. The reviewed announcements do not establish that all 40 episodes arrived on either premiere date.
AP also reported that Disney’s internal streaming data put the franchise at about 650 million hours streamed globally on Disney+. Disney supplied that figure; AP did not report a more precise measurement cutoff, and it is not an independent audience measurement. The same AP report quoted Povenmire saying the new stories had felt fresh to the returning creators, and Marsh describing the series as something the whole family could enjoy.
