In an Instagram post reported as published on July 5, 2024, Stacey said tests had led to a stage 3 melanoma diagnosis and that she expected immediate treatment and surgery. PerthNow described her as a mother of two and a landscape content creator based in Perth.
Stacey said she had experienced melanoma when she was 20. In the post, she wrote that doctors believed the earlier melanoma was the source of disease detected in her lymph nodes. Those details reflect her account as reported by PerthNow, not independent confirmation from medical records.
The lump and search for answers
Stacey said a lump appeared in her armpit in November and that she sought a third opinion. PerthNow did not specify which year she meant by November, so the timing cannot be made more precise from the report.
