Anne de Zogheb: Anka’s first wife
Anka married fashion model Anne de Zogheb in Paris in 1963. They had five daughters together. In 1984, a UPI report summarizing Anne’s interview with Parade quoted her describing the demands of Anka’s career: “It’s taken me 20 years to realize that Paul is a workaholic.” The report also characterized him as a good father to their daughters.
In an excerpt from his 2013 memoir, My Way, Anka described the challenge of balancing family life and a music career over what he called a 39-year marriage. He wrote that he and Anne “remained best friends to this day.” Sources differ on whether their marriage ended in 2000 or 2001, so the end date is best described as around the turn of the century.
Anna Åberg, known as Anna Anka: his second wife
Anka’s second wife was Anna Åberg, a personal trainer known publicly as Anna Anka. CBS News reported that by 2006 Anka and Anna had a two-year-old son, Ethan. They married in 2008 and divorced in 2010. Ethan was born before the wedding.

Lisa Pemberton: his third wife
Anka and Lisa Pemberton married on October 22, 2016, at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Entertainment Tonight described it as Anka’s third marriage and reported that Ethan escorted Pemberton down the aisle. IMDb’s biographical record lists the marriage as ending in divorce in 2020.
Public reporting offers less detail about Pemberton’s life apart from her marriage to Anka, and the sources cited here do not establish a reason for their divorce. Anka has discussed marriage in interviews, but his views are personal reflections, not evidence of what caused any particular relationship to end.

What Anka has said about marriage
In an iHeart interview, Anka said his first marriage lasted 39 years, that he married twice afterward, and that a marriage can fail when the partners are not the right fit. That is his retrospective perspective; it does not establish the private reasons for any of his divorces.
