पहले पहचानें: Media Source या VLC Video Source?
एक MP4 बार-बार चलानी है
Media Source एकल वीडियो फ़ाइल के लिए है। उसकी Loop setting वीडियो खत्म होने पर उसी फ़ाइल को फिर चलाती है; इससे अगली MP4 अपने-आप नहीं खुलती।
कई MP4 क्रम से चलानी हैं
Playlist के लिए VLC Video Source चुनें। यह VLC libraries पर निर्भर है और OBS के साथ VLC इंस्टॉल होना चाहिए। OBS की guide के अनुसार 64-bit OBS के लिए 64-bit VLC जरूरी है। अगर VLC Video Source source सूची में नहीं दिखता, पहले VLC की installation और bitness जाँचें। [OBS की Media Sources guide]
VLC Video Source की playlist settings जाँचें
- Playlist क्रम: Playlist में फ़ाइलें सही क्रम में जोड़ें। नियमित क्रम चाहिए तो Shuffle Playlist बंद रखें; चालू होने पर क्रम random हो सकता है।
- Playlist खत्म होने पर: Loop Playlist चालू रखें, यदि अंत में पहली फ़ाइल से फिर शुरू करना है। यह पूरी playlist को दोहराता है, किसी एक MP4 को नहीं। OBS guide में Loop Playlist का default On और Shuffle Playlist का default Off बताया गया है।
- Source छिपने पर: Visibility Behaviour देखें। OBS में source के दिखाई न देने पर playback रोकने और फिर दिखाई देने पर restart करने का विकल्प है। यदि scene बदलने या source छिपाने के बाद playback रुकता या शुरुआत से चलता है, तो यह setting आपके अपेक्षित व्यवहार से मेल खाती है या नहीं जाँचें।

अगर playlist किसी खास MP4 पर अटकती है
MP4 एक container format है; extension अकेले यह नहीं बताती कि भीतर का codec OBS के साथ संगत है। OBS MP4 को समर्थित format बताता है, लेकिन container और codec संगतता अलग बातें हैं। [OBS का Video Formats guide]
- समस्या वाली फ़ाइल को VLC में सीधे चलाकर देखें।
- उसी फ़ाइल को OBS में अलग Media Source बनाकर चलाएँ और परिणाम की playlist playback से तुलना करें।
- देखें कि हर फ़ाइल चलती है या हमेशा एक ही फ़ाइल पर playback रुकता है। इससे जाँच का दायरा घट सकता है; केवल इस लक्षण से किसी खास फ़ाइल या codec को दोषी नहीं ठहराया जा सकता।
पुराने version-संबंधी सुझावों को सावधानी से लें
