With Love, Meghan has no publicly disclosed, show-specific production budget in the reviewed sources. The dollar figures reported for Netflix and Archewell refer to their broader deal, not to this series alone; one anonymous-source account says that agreement also covered operating and development overhead, without giving a breakdown.
What the public figures do—and do not—cover
It helps to separate four different questions: what the series cost to make, what Netflix’s broader Archewell deal was worth, what expenses that agreement may have covered, and how many people watched. The available figures answer only the latter three, and do not establish the show’s budget or profitability.
| Figure or claim | What it refers to | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| No show-specific budget disclosed | With Love, Meghan | The reviewed sources do not itemize the series’ production cost. |
| $30 million to more than $100 million; roughly $60 million according to two sources | The original Netflix-Archewell deal | Variety reported a wide range of estimates and attributed the roughly $60 million estimate to two sources. These are press-reported estimates, not an official Netflix figure or a budget for this series. Variety |
| “Overhead agreement” | The original broader deal | TheWrap quoted an unnamed insider describing support for staff, office, and development fees, as well as the couple’s work. The source did not quantify any category, and the description is not an audited allocation. TheWrap |
| 5.3 million views | With Love, Meghan in the first half of 2025 | Netflix reported this viewing metric in its August 11, 2025 announcement; it is not a production-cost, revenue, or profit figure. Netflix and The Associated Press |
Why there is no clear answer to “where did the money go?”
The key missing number is the series’ own budget. Without an itemized production cost or contract accounting, the broader deal estimates cannot be assigned to With Love, Meghan. Nor does the reported overhead description say how much, if anything, went to a particular show, staff, offices, or development work.
The series itself is a lifestyle program spanning cooking, gardening, hosting, recipes, and crafts. Netflix says it was filmed in Montecito, California. Its premiere, originally announced for January 2025, was moved to March 4 at Meghan’s request because of the Los Angeles wildfires. Netflix’s Media Center describes the series, while Netflix Tudum covers its release and companion material.

What the viewing figure tells us
Netflix reported 5.3 million views for the show in the first half of 2025 and called it its most-watched culinary show since release in its August 11 announcement. That gives an audience measure for the period, but the figure alone cannot show what Netflix spent, how much revenue the series generated, or whether it was profitable. Netflix’s announcement and the AP report report the metric.

On August 11, 2025, Netflix announced a multiyear first-look deal for Archewell’s film and television projects. Under the arrangement described by Axios, Netflix gets early access but is not required to fund a project; Archewell can take projects elsewhere. This later structure is distinct from the earlier deal and does not disclose how that earlier agreement’s money was allocated. Netflix; Axios.
