What is Motel Transylvania about?

The studio’s official Motel Transylvania series page sums up the premise with the question: “Vampires and sunshine… what can go wrong!?”

When will it be released, and where can you watch it?
The October 30, 2025 report gives 2027 as the expected Netflix arrival year. That is a release window, not a confirmed premiere date. Sony Pictures Animation also names Netflix as the destination, and Netflix has an official Motel Transylvania title listing. The reviewed listing categorizes it as a TV cartoon and comedy but does not provide a date. Check Netflix in your region for current availability as the launch approaches.

No series voice cast was announced in the October 30, 2025 report, and neither the official studio page nor Netflix listing reviewed here names cast members. The feature films’ performers should not be assumed to be returning for the series unless an official announcement confirms it.
