Is it a movie, and how long is it?
Although viewers and catalogues may call it a movie, it is presented as a Miraculous World television special. Listings differ slightly: Disney+ gives a runtime of 52 minutes, while Apple TV lists 50 minutes. Miraculous Corp described it as a one-hour special. For a general guide, expect about 50 minutes; the exact runtime depends on the service or cut. Disney+ lists the special at 52 minutes, and Apple TV lists it at 50 minutes.

Where can you watch it?
In the United States, Disney+ began streaming the special on February 27, 2026. Miraculous Corp’s November 2025 announcement had previously scheduled its US television debut on Disney Channel for November 29, 2025, with Disney XD airing it the next day. The company said Disney+ streaming would follow in the US and select worldwide regions, so availability outside the United States depends on territory. Check the Disney+ listing for your region rather than assuming a global date. The company’s release announcement gives the US schedule and describes the international rollout as selective.
How does it connect to Miraculous Stellar Force?
The special introduces the Stellars and their mythology ahead of Miraculous Stellar Force, a planned 2D spin-off. Miraculous Corp announced the series for 2027, describing it as a story set at an international school in Tokyo, where students become guardians of the shattered Stellar Matrix. That is a company-announced plan, not a guarantee that the series will arrive on that date. Miraculous Corp’s announcement provides the current description and target year.

The special is therefore relevant to viewers curious about the new team, but the available official description does not establish that watching it will be required to follow the spin-off. It is best understood as an introduction to the characters and setting rather than proof of how much continuity the later series will assume.
