There is one important qualification: older reports sometimes said Tyson had eight children because they included D’Amato Kilrain Tyson. However, contemporaneous accounts disagreed about D’Amato’s paternity, including a later report of blood-test results that said Tyson was not the biological father. For that reason, the most accurate modern wording is that Tyson is generally reported to have seven children, with a disputed eighth-child reference appearing in older coverage.
Mike Tyson’s seven commonly reported children
| Child | Mother or family relationship | What is publicly documented |
|---|---|---|
| Mikey Lorna Tyson | Kimberly Scarborough | Generally identified as Tyson’s oldest child and daughter; reported born in 1990. |
| Rayna Tyson | Monica Turner | Identified in recent biographical coverage as nonbinary and uses they/them terminology in that coverage. |
| Amir Tyson | Monica Turner | Tyson’s son with Turner. |
| Miguel Leon Tyson | Sol Xochitl | Reported born in 2002; Tyson shared footage of him training with boxing pads as a teenager. |
| Exodus Tyson | Sol Xochitl | Died in a 2009 accident at age four. |

| Morocco Elijah Tyson | Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer | Tyson and Spicer’s son; reported born in 2011. |
1. Mikey Lorna Tyson
Mikey Lorna Tyson is generally identified as Mike Tyson’s oldest child and daughter. Biography.com reported that she was born in 1990 and that her mother is Kimberly Scarborough. A 1991 Deseret News report also described Tyson acknowledging paternity of a daughter named Michael Tyson, born to Scarborough.

There is limited reliable public reporting about Mikey Lorna’s adult life. Details about her work, relationships, location, or other private matters should not be treated as established fact unless directly and reliably verified.
2. Rayna Tyson
Rayna Tyson is one of Mike Tyson’s two children with his second wife, Monica Turner. ESPN’s account of Tyson and Turner’s 2003 divorce identified Rayna and Amir as the couple’s children and reported that Turner received custody of them.
More recent biographical coverage identifies Rayna as nonbinary and uses they/them language. That current terminology should be preferred over older accounts that may use different or outdated language. Beyond this publicly reported information, Rayna’s personal life is largely private.
3. Amir Tyson
Amir Tyson is Mike Tyson’s son with Monica Turner. ESPN’s reporting on the couple’s 2003 divorce identified Amir as one of their two children and reported that he was five years old at the time.
The available sources establish the family relationship but do not provide a sufficiently verified current biography that is necessary to this article. Claims about Amir’s profession, education, relationships, or other personal activities should not be inferred from unverified social-media accounts.

4. Miguel Leon Tyson
Miguel Leon Tyson is commonly identified as Mike Tyson’s son with former girlfriend Sol Xochitl. He was reported as born in 2002.
In 2018, ESPN reported that Mike Tyson had shared video of himself training Miguel on the pads when Miguel was 15. Tyson said the activity was intended to keep Miguel fit. That supports describing boxing as an interest during Miguel’s adolescence, but it does not establish that he became—or intended to become—a professional boxer.
5. Exodus Tyson
Exodus Tyson was Mike Tyson’s daughter with Sol Xochitl. She died in Phoenix on May 26, 2009, at age four, after her neck apparently became caught in a treadmill cord at the family home. An Associated Press report carried by ESPN said police characterized the death as a tragic accident. Her seven-year-old brother found her, and emergency responders attempted resuscitation.
Because Exodus was a young child, the event should be discussed with restraint and without unnecessary graphic detail. Tyson later spoke about the loss in his one-man stage show and in a television interview, describing the subject as painful. The death occurred in 2009 and should not be presented as a recent event.
6. Milan Tyson
Milan Tyson is Mike Tyson’s daughter with his wife, Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer. An ESPN profile published in 2013 described Milan as four years old, consistent with a late-2008 birth. ESPN’s Spanish-language chronology also described Tyson and Spicer with their daughter Milan in 2009.

Those reports establish the family relationship and approximate birth period, but the sources reviewed do not support a detailed current account of Milan’s activities. She should be treated as a private family member rather than as a public celebrity whose personal life is open for speculation.
7. Morocco Elijah Tyson
Morocco Elijah Tyson is Mike Tyson’s son with Lakiha Spicer. ESPN’s profile identified Morocco as the couple’s son and reported that he was two and a half in 2013, consistent with a 2011 birth.

Who are the mothers of Mike Tyson’s children?
The seven commonly reported children are associated with four mothers or family relationships:
- Kimberly Scarborough: mother of Mikey Lorna Tyson.
- Monica Turner: mother of Rayna and Amir Tyson.
- Sol Xochitl: mother of Miguel Leon and Exodus Tyson.
- Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer: mother of Milan and Morocco Elijah Tyson.
Tyson married Robin Givens, Monica Turner, and Lakiha Spicer. The seven-child list, however, does not identify Robin Givens as the mother of any of those children. Tyson and Turner divorced in 2003; an Associated Press report carried by ESPN said Turner received custody of Rayna and Amir as part of the divorce settlement.
Rank #4
Tyson and Spicer married in June 2009. Sources describe the timing in slightly different ways in relation to Exodus Tyson’s death, so “in June 2009” is the clearest precise formulation without overstating the interval.

Mike Tyson’s memoir, Undisputed Truth, written with Larry Sloman, offers Tyson’s own account of his childhood, boxing career, family history, and life after boxing. It is a memoir—not an independent reference source—so readers should understand that it reflects Tyson’s perspective and should not automatically be treated as definitive for every family detail. The book has been published in paperback, ebook, and audiobook editions.
Why do some sources say Mike Tyson has eight children?
The discrepancy comes from older reporting about a child named D’Amato Kilrain Tyson, a name referencing Cus D’Amato, the trainer and father figure who played an important role in Mike Tyson’s life.
An older ESPN biography listed D’Amato among Tyson’s children and consequently described Tyson as having eight children. A March 1991 Deseret News report said Tyson acknowledged fathering D’Amato. However, a January 1992 Deseret News report said blood tests showed Tyson was not D’Amato’s biological father.
Those conflicting accounts are why it is misleading to present the eight-child figure as settled fact. The careful summary is: most recent celebrity biographies count seven children, while older reports separately discussed D’Amato Kilrain Tyson and contain conflicting accounts of his paternity.
What is known—and not known—about Tyson’s family?
Several of Tyson’s children have lived largely outside the public spotlight, and some were minors when the most detailed reports were published. A responsible family profile should focus on documented relationships, approximate birth information where it is well established, and significant events that have been reliably reported.
Best Value
That means avoiding unsupported claims about the children’s current ages, careers, marriages, education, income, residences, estrangements, or relationships. It also means using current, reliable terminology when discussing Rayna Tyson’s identity and avoiding speculation about any family member’s private life.
The result is a shorter list than many celebrity-family pages produce, but it is also a more accurate one: seven commonly reported children, four associated mothers or family relationships, and a historical paternity dispute that explains the occasional reference to eight.
