Lauren Pisciotta’s civil lawsuit against Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was reportedly settled in July 2026. The available reporting does not confirm that the court later dismissed the case, and the settlement terms have not been made public. The suit began in 2024 with allegations of sexual harassment and wrongful termination; later pleadings added further claims that remain allegations, not court findings.

What happened in the lawsuit?

Pisciotta, a former assistant to Ye, filed a civil suit in 2024 alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination. The claims later changed as she amended her pleadings. Complex reported that a 2025 amended complaint included allegations of sexual assault, battery and sex trafficking. Those descriptions refer to claims in the plaintiff’s pleadings; they are not established facts or findings by a court.

Did Lauren Pisciotta and Ye settle?

Yes, according to reporting published July 30, 2026, by the Los Angeles Times. TMZ reported that a court filing described the settlement as “unconditional,” said it was reached July 23, 2026, and indicated that a request to dismiss the case would be filed within 45 days. The available reports do not establish that a dismissal was subsequently filed or entered.

What does the settlement establish?

The settlement resolves the parties’ dispute according to the cited reporting, but its terms have not been disclosed. The reporting does not establish an admission of liability, and a settlement is not a court finding on the underlying allegations.
