Regisseur Destin Daniel Cretton sagte im Podcast Deadline Crew Call: „We are developing a second one.“ Damit ist die Fortsetzung in Entwicklung. Just Jared berichtete am 15.
Im Gespräch mit Josh Horowitz äußerte Liu deutlich, dass er die Rolle wieder spielen möchte: „I would crawl through a mile of broken glass to do a sequel.“ Zugleich räumte er ein, dass die Wartezeit lang sei: „Has it been a while? Juli 2026.
