The series follows stories in different parts of the world to show how global forces affect everyday lives.
What is The Human Element about?
TheWrap describes The Human Element as a six-episode adventure documentary series in which Harris travels to different parts of the world and reports on real human stories. Its central idea is to connect those personal experiences with larger forces shaping people’s lives.
The first episode, “The Nile,” follows a journey down the river and examines its past, present and future. TheWrap also previews Pacific islanders living with a changing ocean and families protecting ancient texts in the Sahara Desert.
When does it premiere, and where can you watch?
TheWrap reports that the series premiere is set for November 7, 2026, on Harris’ official YouTube channel. The report says a trailer has been released, but the available reporting does not independently confirm the trailer’s destination or provide a primary announcement from Harris or the series.

What is the episode schedule?
TheWrap says new episodes will arrive every three weeks. Its published schedule names the locations and gives a month or year for most installments, rather than exact dates:
| Episode | Title or location | Timing reported by TheWrap |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | “The Nile” | November 7, 2026 |
| 2 | Palau | December 2026; exact date not stated |
| 3 | Mauritania | December 2026; exact date not stated |
| 4 | Myanmar | 2027; month and date not stated |
| 5 | Nepal | 2027; month and date not stated |
| 6 | Taiwan | 2027; month and date not stated |
The every-three-weeks cadence and the broad dates in the schedule do not establish exact release days for the later episodes. TheWrap identifies YouTube and Newpress, which it describes as a creator-led, community-driven journalism platform, as sources behind the series.
