How much weight has Jelly Roll lost?
The nearly-200-pound figure comes from Jelly Roll’s own account in April 2025. Speaking on Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht, he said: “I started at 540 pounds and I was 357 pounds this morning.” The difference is 183 pounds. The Independent reported his statement.

The 183-pound loss is the arithmetic between the two weights Jelly Roll gave in April 2025. The later reports advance the timeline: one gives an approximate scale weight in November, while the other states the total loss described in the cover story. The available coverage does not establish a newer weight figure beyond those milestones as of October 8, 2026.
What has been reported about his weight-loss journey?
Accounts describe a combination of emotional support, nutrition help, and more activity—not a single trick or product. Biography.com’s account of the later profile says he went to therapy for overeating, worked with a medical team monitoring blood panels, cholesterol, and blood sugar, and had nutrition coach and chef Ian Larios prepare meals. The Independent’s January 2026 report also describes therapy before he focused on nutrition and exercise, including whole foods and movement.

In April 2025, coverage described him walking around arenas and taking part in basketball and boxing. Earlier reporting also described walking several miles on multiple days a week. These are details of his personal experience, not a tested exercise prescription or a recommendation that every reader follow the same routine.

In the account of the Men’s Health profile, Jelly Roll said: “Once I started treating food like an addiction, it started changing everything for me.” That is his description of what mattered in his own journey; it should not be read as a diagnosis or treatment guidance for someone else.

Did Jelly Roll use weight-loss medication?
The accounts require a qualification: it would be inaccurate to say he never tried medication. The Independent reported in January 2026 that an editor’s note to the Men’s Health account clarified he briefly tried an unnamed medication for two weeks and then stopped. The report does not identify the medication.
