What day does IT: Welcome to Derry air?
New episodes generally aired on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the corresponding episodes available on HBO Max. The premiere followed that pattern on October 26, and episodes 3 through 8 continued weekly through December 14.
Why did episode 2 have two release dates?
HBO moved episode 2 forward on HBO Max to celebrate Halloween. It became available to stream at 12:00 a.m. Pacific / 3:00 a.m. Eastern on Friday, October 31. Viewers using the linear HBO channel saw the episode in the regular Sunday-night slot on November 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The two dates refer to different release methods, not two different episodes.
