How NYT Connections works
Connections presents 16 words that must be divided into four groups of four. Each group shares a hidden connection. The categories are color-coded by difficulty: yellow, green, blue and purple. Overlapping meanings, wordplay and red herrings can make a word seem to fit more than one group.
Hints for Tuesday, July 30
Use these clues in order. Each one points to a category without naming its four answers.

These nouns describe a natural or developed talent for doing something.
GROUP OF BUILDINGS
BLOCK, COMPLEX, COMPOUND, DEVELOPMENT
Each can refer to a group or cluster of buildings.
