The screenplay by Gary Dauberman adapts Stephen King’s novel It. The 2019 film is a sequel to It (2017), not a standalone retelling of the whole novel.

How long is it, and what is its rating?
Apple TV’s US listing gives the runtime as 2 hours 49 minutes and rates the film R for disturbing violent content and bloody images throughout, pervasive language, and some crude sexual material. The Numbers lists the running time as 169 minutes, the same duration expressed in minutes. Rating classifications and catalog details can differ by country, so check the listing for your region.
Is It: Chapter Two available on 4K Blu-ray?
Warner Home Video announced US 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray editions for December 10, 2019. The 4K edition’s reviewed specifications include Dolby Vision and HDR10+, Dolby Atmos audio with a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 core, a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, and a 169-minute presentation. Sound & Vision reports that the package includes a bonus Blu-ray with a 100-minute making-of documentary; director Andy Muschietti’s commentary is available on both the Blu-ray and 4K discs.

- Which discs and bonus features are included in that specific package.
- Region and language compatibility for your equipment and preferences.

A standard Blu-ray is an alternative if you do not have a UHD player and compatible display. Warner’s US home-video announcement identifies the Blu-ray format as well as 4K Ultra HD.

When did the film come out, and how did it perform?
The Numbers records a wide US theatrical release on September 6, 2019, followed by a Warner Home Video video release date of November 19, 2019. Its database reports worldwide theatrical box office of $473,093,228: $211,593,228 domestic and $261,500,000 international. The Numbers also lists a domestic opening weekend of $91,062,152. These are database-reported historical figures, not current box-office measures.
