In the United States, Netflix streams Raw live and has a selection of WWE archive and documentary programming, but it does not carry live SmackDown, NXT or current main-roster Premium Live Events. In most international markets, Netflix carries Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events live, subject to local rights.
What WWE is on Netflix in the United States?

The archive arrangement also includes WWE documentaries and original programming. That does not mean every historic episode or every past WWE, WCW, ECW, SmackDown or NXT program is available. The January 2026 announcement describes specific archive categories, not an exhaustive catalog of all WWE history. See the TKO and WWE library announcement.
What can international viewers watch on Netflix?
In most international markets, WWE says Netflix streams Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events live. In those countries, Netflix can serve as the main destination for WWE’s current live lineup, as well as selected older and documentary programming.

It is not a universal worldwide package. WWE’s country and distribution guide identifies Germany and Austria, sub-Saharan Africa, and Japan among the regions with other listed distributors. Rights and catalogs can differ by country, so check the guide for your location rather than assuming another country’s lineup applies to you.
What does the Netflix-WWE deal cover?
The partnership has several parts, not a single transfer of every WWE program to one service. Netflix’s January 23, 2024 announcement made it the home of Raw in specified territories and set out broader international rights to WWE shows and specials, subject to availability. Those broader rights are why the international offer is wider than the U.S. one.

- Weekly live programming: Raw is on Netflix in many markets. Internationally, the package also includes SmackDown and NXT in most regions; U.S. rights for those shows remain elsewhere.
- Premium Live Events: Most international markets get WWE’s events live on Netflix. Current U.S. main-roster events are distributed separately through the ESPN App with ESPN Unlimited.
- Library and original content: Netflix has selected WWE archive material, documentaries and original programming. In the U.S., the 2026 expansion specifically added the pre-September-2025 Premium Live Event library.
When did Raw move to Netflix?
Raw began streaming on Netflix on January 6, 2025. The first Netflix episode marked the end of the show’s traditional linear-TV run in the territories covered by the move. The date was confirmed in WWE’s announcement of the Netflix premiere.
Which subscriptions or channels do U.S. fans need?
If you mainly watch Raw
Netflix is the relevant service for live U.S. Raw. It also offers the specified older Premium Live Events and WWE documentary and original programming where available.

If you follow several current WWE shows
Netflix alone is not enough for the full U.S. lineup. You will need access to the outlet for each program you want: USA Network for SmackDown, The CW for weekly NXT and its Premium Live Events, and ESPN Unlimited through the ESPN App for current main-roster Premium Live Events. WWE also lists Peacock for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Check each provider’s current availability and requirements; the WWE guide identifies the distribution outlet, not a single bundle that includes them all.
If you watch from outside the United States
Netflix may carry nearly the entire live WWE package in your region, but verify your country in WWE’s guide. The original agreement described the broader international offering as available where rights permitted, and local distributors remain in some markets.

Does Netflix replace Peacock or the WWE Network?
In the United States, Netflix does not replace every other WWE destination. It carries Raw and the specified archive and original content, while WWE’s current guide assigns other live programs to USA Network, The CW, ESPN Unlimited and Peacock. Internationally, Netflix takes on much of the role fans associated with the WWE Network in most markets, but local rights exceptions mean that is not true everywhere.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does Netflix show WWE live, on replay, or from the archive?
WWE describes the current shows and Premium Live Events available on Netflix in most international regions as live streams; U.S. Raw is also live on Netflix. Live availability is distinct from replays, past episodes and archive titles. The announced U.S. archive categories cover Premium Live Events held before September 2025, documentaries and original programming; they do not establish that every historic WWE program is on Netflix. A title’s availability can also vary by country.

- January 6, 2025: Raw debuted on Netflix.
- January 6, 2026: Netflix became the U.S. home for WWE’s pre-September-2025 Premium Live Event library, documentaries and original programming.
- As of August 18, 2026: WWE’s current guide lists U.S. programming across Netflix, USA Network, The CW, ESPN Unlimited and Peacock, while most international regions get a broader live package through Netflix.
What to check before you subscribe
- Look up the country where you will watch; rights differ by market and can change.
- For U.S. viewing, match each show or event you follow to its listed distributor instead of assuming Netflix includes all WWE programming.
- Distinguish a live event from an archive title or replay. The phrase “WWE library” does not establish that every historical program is available.
- If traveling, expect the catalog to reflect regional rights. A VPN should not be treated as a guaranteed or officially supported way to access another country’s WWE programming.
