Marvel and Disney have already released a trailer and poster and presented exclusive footage at San Diego Comic-Con; those confirmed promotions do not establish a date for another reveal.
Is a new Avengers: Doomsday reveal scheduled for October?
There is no verified October 24 reveal date in the official material cited here. Disney’s July 20 UK announcement said a new trailer and poster were available, while The Walt Disney Company’s San Diego Comic-Con recap described a Doomsday panel and an exclusive in-room look. Neither announces another reveal three weeks after October 3.
Marvel Japan’s recent-news index showed other current entries when checked on October 3, but an index is not an exhaustive schedule: its contents cannot prove that no future announcement is planned. The careful conclusion is that the countdown claim is unverified, not that a reveal definitely will or will not happen.
What Marvel has already revealed
The theatrical trailer is available, and Disney UK announced a poster alongside it on July 20, 2026. At San Diego Comic-Con in July, Marvel held a Doomsday panel with cast members and showed footage exclusively to people in the room. That event was a substantial promotion, but the recap does not describe the footage as publicly released.

The Walt Disney Company’s recap names Anthony and Joe Russo as directors and lists the ensemble cast. These official descriptions establish the film’s crossover premise; they do not confirm additional plot details or a future reveal date.

How to tell a confirmed reveal from a countdown rumor
- Look for an announcement, not just a countdown. The official material cited here confirms past promotional events, not a new date around October 24.
- Check what the event actually promises. A panel, an in-room footage presentation, a trailer and a poster are different kinds of promotion; one does not establish another.
- Use an official source for updates. Disney’s film pages, Disney+ guide and company announcements are the relevant places to verify a newly scheduled trailer or event. Marvel Japan’s news index can show published entries, but its contents alone do not settle what might be announced later.
