Crave is not automatically free for every Bell customer. Some eligible Bell Mobility Max and Ultra smartphone plans include Crave Standard With Ads at no additional monthly charge, while select Bell TV and Internet bundles may offer Crave free for a limited period. Eligibility depends on your exact plan or promotion, so check MyBell before subscribing separately.
The short answer
Being a Bell customer does not, by itself, make Crave free. Bell offers Crave at no additional charge only through specific wireless plans, bundles and limited-time promotions.
For the Bell Mobility offer described on Bell’s current promotional pages, the included service is Crave Standard With Ads. Bell lists its value as $11.99 per month plus tax, applied as a promotional credit. Crave Premium is not included automatically.
Bell’s offers can change, and different promotions may have different eligibility rules. Confirm the exact offer attached to your account rather than relying only on the name of your Bell plan.

Which Bell customers may qualify?

What “free Crave” actually means
Bell uses several different arrangements that can sound like “free”:
- Included benefit: An eligible Mobility plan receives a credit matching the price of Crave Standard With Ads. You still pay for the Bell wireless plan.
- Limited-time promotion: Some offers provide Crave for two months, while Bell promotional pages have also described Crave Mobile for up to 24 months on us. The duration and eligibility depend on the specific offer.
- TV-package inclusion: Crave may be part of a Bell TV package whose overall price already includes the service. That is not necessarily a free standalone benefit.
- Bundle discount: Crave may be discounted when combined with services such as Netflix or Disney+; a bundle can still cost more than Crave alone.
Taxes, the Bell plan’s own monthly charge and any post-promotion price are separate from the Crave credit.
What is included with Bell Mobility Crave?
The current Bell Mobility promotion is for Crave Standard With Ads, not Crave Premium. Bell describes the tier as providing access to the Crave library, including Crave, HBO and Max content, but ad-supported plans can have licensing restrictions.

- The promotion is intended for the Crave app or crave.ca, not a Bell TV receiver.
Crave Premium is advertised with features including ad-free viewing, downloads, up to four streams and up to 4K playback. Actual availability can depend on the title, device and subscription arrangement.
Can you upgrade to Crave Premium?
Yes. Bell says eligible Mobility customers can upgrade through MyBell while retaining the $11.99 monthly credit. At the prices shown on Bell’s pages, Premium costs $22 per month plus tax, so the difference is approximately $10.01 per month plus tax. That calculation is price-dependent; Bell can change both the Premium price and promotional credit.
Premium may make sense if you need ad-free viewing, downloads, four simultaneous streams or higher-quality playback. If you mainly want occasional access and do not mind ads, the included Standard With Ads tier may be sufficient.

How to activate the Bell Mobility offer
- Activate or upgrade to an eligible Bell Mobility Max or Ultra smartphone plan.
- Wait for Bell’s activation instructions by email or text.
- Open Bell’s linking page at crave.ca/link/bell-mobility.
- Create a Crave account, or choose to use an existing one.
- Link the account to the eligible Bell Mobility phone number.
- Enter the one-time verification code sent by text.
- Sign in at crave.ca or in the Crave app with the Crave email address and password.
If the offer does not appear, check MyBell for the promotion or activation message and confirm that the correct phone number and account were used.

Bell says access and features can vary by provider and package. If watching through a Bell receiver matters to you, a TV-provider subscription may be more suitable than the Mobility offer.
How billing works
A Mobility customer may see a Crave charge and a matching promotional credit on the Bell bill. That does not necessarily mean the offer failed: inspect both lines and confirm that the net Crave charge is being offset.

Also check:
- Whether the credit lasts for a fixed period.
- Whether taxes apply to the underlying service or any remaining amount.
- What the monthly price becomes after the promotion ends.
- Whether switching or cancelling the eligible Bell plan ends Crave access.
Bell states that cancelling the qualifying Mobility rate plan or moving to a non-eligible plan ends the promotional Crave subscription. Treat the benefit as conditional, not as a permanent standalone Crave account.

“I am a Bell customer, but I cannot find Crave.”
Your service may not qualify, the offer may be limited to a new activation or upgrade, or the promotion may not yet be attached to the account. Confirm the exact smartphone plan in MyBell. A tablet or smartwatch plan does not qualify for the stated Mobility offer.

That may be expected. Bell’s Mobility Standard With Ads promotion is app- and web-based and cannot be used on a Bell TV receiver. Receiver access is associated with qualifying Bell TV subscription arrangements.

“I cannot download shows.”
Downloads are not included in the Mobility Standard With Ads offer. Bell lists downloads as a Premium feature.
“I already pay for Crave directly.”
First determine who bills the existing subscription: Crave directly, Bell TV or another provider. Check whether the existing account can be linked before cancelling anything. An immediate cancellation could affect an annual subscription, bundle, STARZ add-on or another entitlement.
“I see a Crave charge on my Bell bill.”
Look for the corresponding promotional credit. If there is no credit, verify the offer period and eligibility in MyBell, then contact Bell before assuming the promotion has failed.

Is switching Bell plans just to get Crave worth it?
Usually, no—not without comparing the total wireless cost. The Crave credit may be useful when you already want an eligible Bell Mobility plan, but changing to a more expensive plan solely for an $11.99 streaming benefit can cost more overall.
For an existing eligible customer, using the included Standard With Ads benefit is generally the simplest choice. Consider Premium if you will use ad-free viewing, downloads, four streams or higher-quality playback. If you only want Crave and do not need Bell billing or TV integration, a direct Crave subscription may be simpler.
