Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf IRL Pro stays on “starting,” check whether YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room receives an incoming signal. No signal points toward IRL Pro’s destination details, stream key, encoder state, or internet connection; a signal means the feed has reached YouTube, so check the broadcast status and account setup there. The status label alone does not identify the cause.
First, find where the start sequence stops
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room for the broadcast you intend to start while IRL Pro is attempting to connect.
- Look for an incoming encoder signal. If none appears, check IRL Pro’s destination, stream key, encoder output, and connection. If a signal appears, the encoder has reached YouTube; use the status and any messages shown in Live Control Room to investigate the broadcast or account settings.
- Note IRL Pro’s own status, preview, and error text. These help distinguish an app-side problem from a signal YouTube is receiving.
This is a practical way to narrow down the failure, not a documented definition of IRL Pro’s “starting” label. The reviewed documentation does not establish what that status means in every current app version.
Refresh the YouTube stream key
YouTube’s recommended fix for an error starting a third-party encoder is to get a new stream key in Live Control Room and update the encoder. (YouTube Help: Troubleshoot your YouTube live stream.)
- In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room for the intended broadcast and copy a fresh stream key.
- In IRL Pro, confirm the selected YouTube destination and replace the existing key if the chosen setup uses a key.
- Try starting the stream again and check Live Control Room for an incoming signal.
Keep the key private. Do not include it in a public screenshot, support post, or issue report. IRL Pro’s setup material describes entering a destination URL and key; the exact current screens may depend on the app’s version and setup method. (Enhanced IRL Docs: Broadcasting with IRL Pro.)

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Check IRL Pro’s destination and encoder output
- Make sure IRL Pro is pointed at the intended YouTube stream, not another destination or an outdated configuration.
- Check that the URL and key—or account connection, if that is the method selected—match the current setup.
- Update IRL Pro through its distribution channel, then inspect its preview and any connection or encoder errors while starting.
- Use YouTube’s encoder health guidance to check the local picture and sound, encoder errors, and CPU load. YouTube recommends using the latest encoder software; if local output remains unhealthy, trying another encoder can help determine whether the problem is specific to the encoder.
If the picture and sound appear healthy locally but YouTube receives no usable signal, investigate the outbound connection next. The reviewed sources do not establish a current IRL Pro version number, a specific known bug, or a single current integration flow.
Test the internet connection
If IRL Pro looks healthy but Live Control Room shows no signal or a connection issue, retry on a stable internet connection and check outbound connectivity. YouTube advises contacting your internet provider if a connection test reveals a problem. (YouTube Help: Troubleshoot your YouTube live stream.)

IRL Pro’s setup documentation describes broadcasting over a single connection. If practical, compare the same setup on Wi-Fi and your usual mobile connection. A difference can help isolate a network issue, but this comparison is a troubleshooting check—not a guaranteed fix or a YouTube requirement.
Do not assume that a particular bitrate or minimum speed will resolve this startup status. The reviewed troubleshooting guidance does not give a threshold for this specific symptom.

Check whether YouTube live streaming is enabled
If this is the first time the account has streamed live, confirm that live streaming is enabled for it. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours; that timing applies to initial enablement, not to every stream that remains on “starting.” (YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.)
Use the evidence to choose your next check
| What you observe | Where to look next |
|---|---|
| IRL Pro shows an error or no healthy preview | Check the app’s configuration and encoder output; update the app and inspect its error details. |
| IRL Pro appears healthy, but Live Control Room shows no incoming signal | Confirm the destination and key, then test the outbound connection. |
| Live Control Room shows an incoming signal | The feed has reached YouTube. Check the status and messages there, along with the intended broadcast and account settings. |
| The account has never streamed live before | Confirm live streaming is enabled and allow for YouTube’s stated first-time enablement period. |
These observations narrow down the failing segment; they do not guarantee that every IRL Pro build exposes the same diagnostics.

Common troubleshooting mistakes
- Repeatedly tapping Start without checking YouTube: first establish whether Live Control Room receives a signal.
- Reusing an old key: replace it with a fresh key from the intended broadcast, then update IRL Pro.
- Sharing the key while asking for help: remove or obscure it; a stream key is a credential.
- Changing bitrate as a guessed cure: the available guidance does not define a bitrate threshold for this status. First check signal receipt, configuration, encoder health, and connectivity.
- Treating first-time enablement as a universal explanation: the possible wait applies to a first live-stream setup, not every established channel.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is for a different job: keeping uploaded videos live on YouTube 24/7. It does not diagnose or repair an IRL Pro connection problem, and it plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a live camera. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live; the cloud keeps it running without a computer, OBS, or home connection staying on.
- Nothing has to stay powered on at home.
- Videos stream as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot regardless of quality.
- Automatic recovery is included if YouTube drops the stream.
- The first day is free with no card; one free day is available per account.
