Was the farmhouse Meghan and Harry’s home?
No. Netflix describes With Love, Meghan as a lifestyle series in which Meghan invites friends and well-known guests to a California estate to share cooking, gardening and hosting tips. Netflix identifies Montecito as the filming area. Netflix’s series coverage and Town & Country’s account of the filming locations distinguish the rented property from the Sussexes’ family home.
Town & Country reports that the production rented a neighbor’s property for the main setting. It also says a few scenes were filmed at the Sussexes’ own backyard and chicken coop, so not every outdoor shot that looks like a home setting necessarily shows the farmhouse.
Where is the farmhouse, and who owns it?
Published reports place the farmhouse in Montecito, a community near Santa Barbara. Realtor.com reported that the owners are Tom and Sherrie Cipolla. The sources cited here do not establish a street address or parcel number, so the location is best identified at the community level rather than more precisely.

What does “$8 million” mean?
Realtor.com reported in January 2025 that the Cipollas bought the property for $4.7 million in 2017 and estimated its value at upward of $8 million. The $8 million-plus figure is Realtor.com’s estimate; it is not evidence of a completed sale, a formal appraisal or the property’s verified current market value.
The same Realtor.com report describes a five-acre property with four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a barn that served as another filming location. These are reported property details, not independently verified here through county records or a current listing.
What does the farmhouse look like inside?
The open kitchen has cream cabinetry, a farmhouse-style sink and a butcher-block island. ELLE Decor also identifies a Thermador stove or range, but does not give a model number, so the reporting supports a general description rather than identifying a specific appliance. The kitchen and grounds are a natural fit for a show centered on food, gardening and hosting.
Meghan’s explanation for filming away from her own home adds context to the distinction between the locations. In a People interview quoted by ELLE Decor, she said, “I wanted to protect that safe haven.” She also described wanting to preserve family time at home and said a crew of more than 80 people would be a lot to have in the house; that headcount is her account, not an independently verified production figure.

When did the series premiere?
Netflix initially planned to launch the series in January 2025, then moved its release to March 4, 2025, at Meghan’s request and with Netflix’s support because of the Los Angeles wildfires. Netflix later announced that season two returned on August 26, 2025. Its season-two coverage gives that later release date.
