Lewis Hamilton’s publicly documented watches include two limited IWC collaborations, several IWC models linked to specific appearances, and a Richard Mille reported on his wrist in 2026. That is a record of selected watches—not a verified inventory of everything he owns or wears.
Hamilton’s IWC collaborations
Hamilton’s association with IWC grew alongside the brand’s 2013 partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team. In a 2024 retrospective, IWC described him as a brand ambassador. Two named IWC editions stand out as collaborations, while other IWC models are documented through campaigns or reported appearances.
Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Lewis Hamilton”
IWC announced this collaboration on 28 November 2019 as reference IW503002, limited to 100 watches. Its 46.5 mm case is black zirconium oxide ceramic, paired with a Bordeaux-red dial and textile strap. The crown and case-back ring have 18-carat 5N gold accents. IWC says Hamilton created the design with its team; the brand’s creative director, Christian Knoop, said Hamilton came to them with the idea of a Bordeaux-red and gold watch. IWC’s 2019 announcement identifies the calibre 52615, with a seven-day power reserve and perpetual calendar with a double moon-phase display.
Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph Lewis Hamilton
This is a separate IWC collaboration, covered in a 2023 WatchPro interview with Hamilton about the launch. British GQ described the watch as having a platinum case, teal dial, 12 diamond hour markers, a tourbillon, retrograde date, and Hamilton’s logo. GQ reported that production was limited to 44 pieces, matching his racing number. The interview offers a glimpse of his perspective: Hamilton said he had “a nice little collection” and would “love to design more.” British GQ’s account and WatchPro’s interview document the edition and his involvement.

IWC watches linked to specific appearances
Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Team edition
IWC’s November 2023 campaign material identifies Hamilton wearing the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, reference IW388306. The brand identifies the same reference as the watch he wore at its July 2024 ten-year partnership event. IWC describes the broader collection as titanium and Ceratanium models with tachymeter scales, developed in connection with its motorsport partners. These are dated, brand-documented appearances; they do not establish that Hamilton wears this model regularly. IWC’s 2024 partnership account records the event appearance.
Big Pilot Top Gun Lake Tahoe
British GQ reported that Hamilton wore the Big Pilot Top Gun Lake Tahoe for much of the 2023 season. GQ described it as a white ceramic watch with a perpetual calendar. This is a report about a particular season’s rotation, not confirmation of ownership or current daily wear. GQ’s collection coverage provides that dated detail.

The Richard Mille reported in 2026
In an article dated 3 October 2026, Motorsport.com reported Hamilton wearing the Richard Mille RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph. The publication put its value at $2.2 million and said the Ferrari-inspired model was designed with Ferrari’s design studio. That figure is Motorsport.com’s reported valuation—not an official retail price, a confirmed purchase price, or evidence of a verified sale. Motorsport.com’s report is the source for both the sighting and valuation.

The clearest distinction is between named collaborations and watches connected to a specific appearance or season. IWC’s 2019 Big Pilot and the 2023 Portugieser are documented limited editions created with Hamilton. The Performance Chronograph and Lake Tahoe model are tied to dated appearances or reporting, while the Richard Mille connection and valuation come from Motorsport.com’s report.
