- Enter an accepted payment method and complete registration.

- whether you are a new or returning subscriber;
- whether you have previously used Hulu or redeemed a Hulu trial;
- how recently you redeemed a previous trial;
- the plan or tier you select; and
- whether Hulu is being purchased as part of a bundle or another combined offering.
There is no reliable universal workaround if Hulu does not show a trial for your account. The practical test is the offer presented during registration. Read that screen carefully rather than relying on an old advertisement, a third-party coupon page, or the fact that someone else received 30 days.
What happens when the free trial ends?
The trial normally converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel under Hulu’s instructions before the applicable trial ends. Hulu says the first payment is charged immediately after the free trial. If a promotion converts to a regular subscription, the subscription generally renews at the then-current non-promotional price—not necessarily the price shown in an older article.

Hulu’s current page displays the Disney+, Hulu Bundle at $12.99 per month and Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium at $19.99 per month. Those are displayed bundle prices, not a universal price for standalone Hulu, every account, or every location. Your signup screen and account page control your actual price.
Hulu generally does not refund or credit partially used subscription terms or billing periods, except where required by law or at Hulu’s discretion. If you start the trial and forget to cancel, do not assume that a refund will be available simply because you watched little or no content.
How to cancel Hulu before you are charged
If Hulu bills you directly
- Sign in to Hulu.com.
- Open your account page at Hulu.com/account.
- Find the subscription section and choose Cancel.
- Follow the confirmation prompts until Hulu confirms the cancellation.
Hulu’s agreement generally says a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription term, free trial, or promotion. Some trial or credit-based cancellations may take effect immediately, so read the confirmation message. Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot showing the cancellation and effective date.
If another company bills you
If you subscribed through a third party—such as an app store, mobile carrier, internet provider, or another billing partner—you must cancel through that company’s cancellation process. Canceling a payment card, deleting the Hulu app, or signing out of Hulu does not necessarily cancel the subscription.

Do not wait for a reminder email
Hulu’s agreement says it does not provide a separate notice that a free trial is about to end or has ended unless legally required. Set your own calendar reminder for at least one day before the trial-end date displayed in your account. If you cancel near the deadline, allow time for account access, time-zone differences, and any confirmation steps.
What you need to watch Hulu
Hulu requires a subscription, a supported device, and a high-speed internet connection. You can watch through Hulu.com on a Mac or PC, or use supported categories such as:
