How to watch WrestleMania XL in the U.S.
WrestleMania XL streamed live exclusively on Peacock in the United States. It was not presented as a normal pay-per-view on a standard U.S. cable channel. Viewers watched through the Peacock website or app on supported phones, computers, streaming players, game consoles and smart TVs. Peacock also offered Spanish-language streaming.
Because WrestleMania XL took place on April 6 and 7, 2024, it is no longer a live event. U.S. viewers looking for the event now should search Peacock for WrestleMania 40 or WrestleMania XL and check that the replay is available in their account before subscribing or making plans. Peacock’s archive guidance has listed every WrestleMania, including the 2024 event, for on-demand streaming.

How to watch the WrestleMania XL replay
- Open Peacock in a web browser or the Peacock app on a supported device.
- Go to the WWE section, or use Peacock’s search tool.
- Search for WrestleMania 40 and, if necessary, try WrestleMania XL.
- Choose Night 1 or Night 2 if Peacock presents the event as separate programs, or select the full-event listing if one is available.
Catalog listings, subscription requirements and availability can change. Confirm that the event appears in your Peacock account before relying on it for a viewing date. The official archive listing is a stronger indication of replay availability than the old live-event schedule, which only describes what was offered in April 2024.
If you want to stream WrestleMania 40 on Peacock, remember that the service’s current price, plan options and availability are separate from the historical fact that Peacock was the U.S. live platform in 2024.
Where to watch WrestleMania XL outside the U.S.
There was no single worldwide streaming answer. WWE’s 2024 guidance directed viewers outside the United States to the WWE Network “everywhere else,” while also identifying regional broadcast or streaming partners in particular territories. Examples referenced in WWE’s viewing information included FOX, USA Network and Sony India, but those services did not apply universally.

International viewers should check WWE’s local “where to watch” information or the WWE Network and authorized WWE partner for their country. Rights can differ by territory and can change over time, so do not assume that a U.S. Peacock subscription, WWE Network subscription or one regional partner works everywhere.

Roman Reigns defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night 2 on Sunday, April 7, 2024. The match was contested under the Bloodline Rules stipulation.
The stipulation followed the Night 1 result in which Reigns and The Rock defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Under Bloodline Rules, outside involvement from members of The Bloodline was effectively part of the match’s premise, making the championship main event a continuation of the two-night story rather than an isolated singles bout.
Who won Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes?
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. WWE’s official results described Rhodes overcoming The Bloodline with help from John Cena and The Undertaker before pinning Reigns in the main event.
The victory ended Reigns’ historic championship run and completed Rhodes’ pursuit of the title. This is different from WrestleMania 39 in 2023, where Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes. If you are searching for the 2024 replay, make sure the listing says WrestleMania 40 or WrestleMania XL rather than WrestleMania 39.

Can you watch WrestleMania XL on regular TV?
For U.S. viewers, the practical answer was no: WrestleMania XL’s main event was not a conventional cable-TV broadcast. The official U.S. viewing destination was Peacock. You could still watch it on a television by installing the Peacock app on a compatible smart TV or streaming device, but that is different from tuning to a standard cable channel.

Outside the U.S., a local television or streaming partner may have carried the event, depending on the country and the rights arrangement in effect at the time. Check local WWE distribution information rather than assuming the U.S. setup applies to your region.
Do not confuse WrestleMania XL with current WWE rights
Later WWE events may use different distribution partners. Current WrestleMania landing pages and rights announcements refer to arrangements for newer events, including ESPN in the United States and Netflix internationally for WrestleMania 42. Those later arrangements do not change where WrestleMania XL streamed in April 2024: Peacock was the historical U.S. home.
An interactive WrestleMania XL tie-in
Fans who want to revisit the event interactively can also investigate WWE 2K24 and the Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition. 2K connected the anniversary edition to WrestleMania’s 40th anniversary and included a WrestleMania 40 arena in the Forty Years content. This is a gaming option, not a streaming service, and edition format, platform support and current availability should be verified before purchase. The anniversary edition was announced as digital-only in its initial release information, so it should not be assumed to be a guaranteed physical edition.
