The Miami–Texas A&M College Football Playoff game is over. It was played on Saturday, December 20, 2025, with Miami winning 10–3. The original U.S. broadcast was on ABC and ESPN, and the authorized online stream was the ESPN App for viewers whose TV provider and location met ESPN’s access requirements.
There is no live game to watch now, and the available research does not confirm a currently free, full-game replay. For an archived viewing guide, your safest options are authorized highlights, official team and CFP recaps, the ESPN game page, and any replay that ABC, ESPN, or the College Football Playoff currently makes available.
Current status: Miami vs. Texas A&M is not live. The first-round CFP game took place on December 20, 2025. Do not trust pages advertising a guaranteed free full-game stream unless the replay is clearly authorized by the rights holder.

How to watch the game now
1. Check authorized replay listings first
Look at the ESPN game page and the official Miami, Texas A&M and College Football Playoff video or recap pages. These are the most reliable places to find an authorized replay, condensed game, extended highlights or postgame coverage if one is still available.
The research available for this guide confirms official recaps and highlights, but it does not establish that a complete, free full-game replay is currently available to U.S. viewers as of August 12, 2026. A video labeled “highlights” or “condensed game” is not the same as the complete broadcast.
2. Check the ESPN App only if you already have eligible access
The ESPN App was the designated stream for the original broadcast. For archived content, sign-in requirements may still apply, and access can depend on your TV provider, subscription, location and the specific replay rights attached to the game.
In practical terms:
- Open the ESPN App or ESPN’s web video area and search for the Miami–Texas A&M CFP game.
- Look for wording such as Replay, Full Game, Condensed Game or Highlights.
- Sign in only through the app’s normal provider or subscription flow.
- If the listing is absent or locked, do not assume that a third-party stream is authorized.
3. Use official highlights if no full replay is listed
Authorized highlights are the most realistic free option when a full replay is unavailable. Search the official video libraries of the teams, ESPN and the CFP for the game title, the final score or key players. Availability may differ by country and may change over time.

Do not confuse a short highlight package with a free full-game stream. A site promising the entire broadcast without identifying ABC, ESPN, the CFP or another rights holder should be treated cautiously.
Could you have watched it free with an antenna?
Possibly—but only during the original broadcast and only where a local ABC affiliate was available over the air. A properly positioned TV antenna for local ABC could have received the local broadcast without an ongoing streaming subscription, subject to signal strength, affiliate coverage and household location.
An antenna cannot unlock a replay of a completed game. It also does not provide ESPN App access. It was a potential way to receive the original ABC broadcast, not a current solution for watching Miami–Texas A&M online.
What about Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV and similar services?
Contemporary viewing guides listed live-TV services such as Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV among services that could carry ABC and/or ESPN during the December 2025 broadcast window. Those services’ channel availability and prices varied by market and package, and the old information should not be treated as current pricing or proof that a particular service now carries an archived replay.

For a future ABC or ESPN college-football game, compare an authorized live TV streaming service only after checking three things:
- Local channel availability: ABC is not available in every market through every package.
- Network access: ESPN may require a different package or authentication path from local ABC.
- Event and replay rights: carrying a network does not necessarily guarantee access to every archived game.
Because this Miami–Texas A&M game is completed, subscribing now would not by itself guarantee access to the full broadcast. Verify the specific replay listing before paying.
What happened in Miami’s 10–3 win?
The game was scoreless at halftime. Miami opened the scoring with a third-quarter field goal, but Texas A&M answered with a fourth-quarter field goal to make it 3–3.
Miami finally broke the deadlock when Malachi Toney caught an 11-yard touchdown pass with 1:44 remaining. Texas A&M then threatened to respond, but Miami’s Bryce Fitzgerald intercepted a pass in the end zone late in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

Quick answer for readers searching for a free stream
- Was the game live? No. It was played on December 20, 2025.
- What were the original channels? ABC and ESPN.
- What was the original online stream? The ESPN App, with provider and authentication requirements.
- Was there a universally free online stream? No. The available evidence does not support that claim.
- Could local viewers have watched ABC free? Some viewers may have received their local ABC affiliate with an antenna during the original broadcast.
- Can you watch the full game free now? No currently authorized full-game replay was confirmed in the available research. Check official ESPN, CFP and team listings for any rights-holder-hosted replay or highlights.
How to avoid unsafe “free stream” pages
Unauthorized sports-streaming pages commonly use the name of a major network or playoff game to attract clicks. They may redirect repeatedly, request unnecessary browser permissions, demand suspicious software downloads or claim to offer a replay that the rights holder does not list.
Use these checks before watching:
- Confirm that the video appears on an official broadcaster, team or CFP property.
- Do not download a “special player,” browser extension or unknown application to watch a replay.
- Do not enter your email, payment details or TV-provider password into a domain you cannot verify.
- Be skeptical of “100% free full game” claims that do not identify the authorized distributor.
Best viewing path
If you want to relive the result, start with authorized highlights and official recaps. If you specifically want the complete broadcast, search ESPN’s current game listing and the official CFP and team video libraries, recognizing that a full replay may require authentication or may no longer be offered. For future college-football games, check the local ABC listing, ESPN App requirements and the exact package of any live-TV service before kickoff.
