Netflix later reported that the event reached more than 108 million live viewers globally, peaked at approximately 65 million concurrent streams and drew 72,300 attendees at AT&T Stadium. Those figures are Netflix-reported numbers; they should not be treated as independently audited audience measurements.
What happened to the original July date?
Paul vs. Tyson was originally scheduled for July 20, 2024. Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions postponed the event after Mike Tyson experienced a health-related training interruption. The rescheduled fight took place on November 15, 2024. Netflix’s original announcement about the partnership and event is available through Netflix’s newsroom.
Devices that can play the Netflix replay
Netflix’s live-event guidance covers most newer smart TVs, streaming media players, Android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads, Mac and Windows computers, and game consoles. For ordinary replay viewing, use the Netflix app or a supported web browser and make sure the app and device software are up to date.

If Netflix does not appear on your television
- Check whether the television or streaming player is listed among Netflix-supported devices.
- Update the Netflix app and the device’s operating system or firmware.
- Restart the device and your home network, then sign back in to Netflix.
- Try Netflix on a phone or computer to determine whether the problem is the account or only the television.
- If the television has no supported Netflix app, consider a compatible streaming player such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick, but verify the current model and compatibility before buying. You do not need new hardware if your existing television, console or streaming device already supports Netflix.
