Update: India vs Pakistan at the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was played on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. It is no longer possible to watch the match live. This guide explains the official live options that applied at the time and where to look for legitimate highlights, replays, scorecards, or audio coverage now.
There was no single worldwide free stream. ICC.tv offered free live coverage in eligible territories without a designated broadcaster, while viewers in the United States, Canada, India, the UK, Australia, and several other markets generally needed the local rights holder or an existing television or streaming package.

- Free-to-air television: The channel may not require an extra streaming payment, but you still need access to that channel through your household provider.
- Free official stream: The service may charge nothing while still requiring registration, an account, or a location check.
- Free trial: This is not the same as free. It may require payment details and automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Included access: A match may be included with an existing television, mobile, or streaming plan. That avoids a new payment but is not free overall.
- Highlights or radio: These are legitimate alternatives, but they are not a live full-match video stream.
United States and Canada
Willow held the live rights to all 55 matches of the tournament in the United States and Canada. Authorized access was available through Willow and listed distribution routes including CricBuzz, Amazon Prime Video, FloSports, Triller, and YouTube Primetime Channels.

However, the free YouTube arrangement was announced for Team USA matches. It should not be expanded into a claim that India vs Pakistan was free on YouTube. Contemporary coverage also discussed an alternate Jomboy Media feed for USA–India and USA–Pakistan; that was separate from the India–Pakistan fixture.
For a US or Canadian viewer at the time, the legal process was:
- Visit Willow or an authorized distributor.
- Check whether Willow was already included with your television, streaming, or sports package.
- If not, compare the official Willow service with authorized options such as CricBuzz or an eligible channel platform.
- Search the service for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup or “India vs Pakistan.”
Now that the match is over, those services should not be presented as a way to watch it live. Check them only for any officially retained replay, highlights, or tournament content.

India
Star Sports carried the television coverage and JioHotstar carried the digital coverage. The ICC announcement confirms the platforms, but the available evidence does not establish that this particular India–Pakistan match was available free of charge on JioHotstar.
That distinction matters: an official digital platform is not automatically a free platform. Access could depend on the current plan, a mobile bundle, an account, or a match-specific promotion. JioStar also provided multiple language feeds, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada coverage.
For the archive version of this guide, check JioHotstar, Star Sports, and the official ICC channels for legally available highlights or replay material rather than assuming the original live page remains active.

Pakistan
The listed television options were PTV Sports and Geo Super. Digital options included Myco, Tamasha, ARY Zapp, and Tapmad, with an Urdu commentary feed planned for Pakistan matches.

A viewer in Pakistan should use the platform’s own match listing and terms to confirm access.
UK, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions
- UK and Ireland: Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event, with streaming through NOW.
- Australia: Prime Video.
- New Zealand: SKY Sport and SKY Sport NOW.
- Sri Lanka: Dialog TV, ThePapare, Dialog Play, and TV Supreme.
- MENA: CricLife Max through StarzPlay.
- Latin America: Disney+.
- Caribbean: ESPN, including ESPN on Disney+ in listed markets.
These were official rights routes, not universal free options. Whether a viewer paid separately depended on the service, country, existing subscription, and distribution package.

How ICC.tv worked
The ICC announced free live coverage on ICC.tv for remaining territories—meaning territories without a designated local rights holder. Selected matches could also appear on the official ICC YouTube channel.
- Open ICC.tv.
- Check whether the India–Pakistan match or its official replay is listed for your territory.
- If the match is unavailable, consult the ICC broadcaster directory.
- Use the local rights holder where one is listed.
If ICC.tv displays a regional restriction, that usually means another broadcaster holds the rights in your country. It is not necessarily a technical fault, and changing location to bypass the restriction may violate service terms or create payment and reliability problems.
If the official stream is missing
- ICC.tv is unavailable: Check whether your country has an exclusive broadcaster.
- A YouTube video looks live: Confirm that it comes from the official ICC, Willow, or an authorized partner channel. Misleading titles and unauthorized streams are common.
- Willow cannot find the match: Verify the account’s country, subscription tier, and whether the service has replay rights for the completed fixture.
- An app shows highlights but not the match: The app may have video-on-demand rights without live-match rights.
- A trial asks for card details: Read the renewal terms and cancellation deadline before signing up.
- The original match page has disappeared: Look for an official scorecard, match report, highlights, radio commentary, or replay listing instead.
Replay, highlights, and audio alternatives
Because the match was played on February 15, 2026, there is no legitimate “watch live now” option. Current replay availability must be confirmed directly on the ICC, broadcaster, or official team platforms; it should not be assumed from the original broadcast listing.

Why unofficial “free streams” are a bad option
Random streaming pages often redirect repeatedly, use misleading YouTube titles, or expose viewers to intrusive advertising, malware, and credential theft. They may also violate copyright law and the service terms of the platform hosting them.
The reliable rule is simple: use the broadcaster listed by the ICC for your territory, or use ICC.tv where the ICC confirms availability. Do not treat a VPN, an unauthorized embed, or a social-media link as proof that a stream is legal or stable.
