Dancing with the Holidays was the official title of the first holiday special from Dancing with the Stars. It aired on ABC and streamed on Disney+ on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with Hulu availability beginning December 3.
If you are looking for a free stream now, the important distinction is timing: the introductory offers promoted for the original broadcast were temporary. As of August 9, 2026, there is no verified, active free legal stream for the special.

Hulu
ABC and Disney announced that the special would arrive on Hulu on December 3, 2025, one day after the premiere. Hulu’s catalog and subscription rules can change, so search Hulu for Dancing with the Holidays rather than assuming the episode is still available.
How people watched it for free during the 2025 premiere
The free options connected to the original broadcast were promotional, not permanent ways to watch the special.
| Option | What it involved | Current warning |
|---|---|---|
| Fubo | A live-TV introductory trial was listed for the December 2 broadcast. | Do not assume the 2025 trial, price, or eligibility still applies. |
| DIRECTV Stream | A promotional trial was also listed for the original airing. | Trial terms change, and the historical offer should not be treated as a current deal. |
| ABC | The special premiered on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/PT. | The broadcast has ended; check your local ABC listings only for future repeats or related programming. |
During the premiere window, viewers who qualified for one of those services could start a trial, watch the ABC feed, and cancel before the paid period began. That is not the same as an ongoing free stream, and eligibility often depends on whether an account has used a previous trial.

What not to trust
Search results may still describe the special as something to watch “tonight” or advertise a Fubo or DIRECTV Stream free trial using December 2025 terms. Those pages are outdated unless they clearly show a new, active promotion and its current conditions.
