Episode 3 from the available first season is streaming on demand, but there is no verified new U.S. broadcast of Episode 3 today, Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The confusion appears to involve the forthcoming second series, which the BBC has announced for autumn 2026 in the UK—not for a confirmed August 18 air date. The BBC’s announcement does not provide a specific Series 2 Episode 3 schedule.
The quick answer
- Where to watch in the U.S.: Peacock.
- Episode 3: Available on demand as part of the existing first season.
- Is a new episode airing today? No new U.S. airing is verified for August 18, 2026.
- Recommended plan: Peacock Premium, because Peacock’s cheaper Select tier excludes Peacock Originals.

Make sure you have the right show
The Celebrity Traitors is the celebrity spin-off of the British format. It is not the same program as the civilian edition generally listed as The Traitors: UK. Peacock catalogs the titles separately, so searching only for “Traitors UK” can lead you to the wrong series.

In other words, there is no confirmed new U.S. air time to provide for today. If you saw “Episode 3 airing today,” it may be outdated, may refer to a different season, or may have confused the celebrity and civilian editions.

Best choice for watching one season
Premium monthly is usually the simplest choice if you are subscribing mainly for The Celebrity Traitors and may cancel afterward. The annual Premium plan has a lower effective monthly cost, but the commitment may not make sense for one short season.
Premium Plus is better suited to people who already want broader Peacock access, downloads or fewer ads. It is difficult to justify for only one episode. Select is cheaper, but Peacock says it excludes Peacock Originals, so it should not be treated as the safe minimum for this title.

Is Peacock free?
The current plan information does not establish free access to this program. Do not assume that a free trial is available unless Peacock displays one during signup. The reliable expectation is that you need an eligible Peacock subscription, with Premium the safer baseline tier.

Can Americans watch it live on BBC One or BBC iPlayer?
The BBC announcement concerns UK distribution on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Those are not ordinary U.S. viewing options, and the sources available here do not verify U.S. access through BBC iPlayer or a same-day American simulcast.
For viewers in the United States, use Peacock for the currently available season. Do not rely on unofficial streams, mirror sites or methods intended to bypass geographic restrictions.
If Episode 3 is missing from Peacock
- Search the complete title, The Celebrity Traitors: UK, rather than “Traitors UK.”
- Check that you are viewing the celebrity edition, not the civilian The Traitors: UK.
- Confirm that your account is being accessed from the United States.
- Check your subscription tier. Select excludes Peacock Originals according to Peacock’s plan description.
- Refresh the app, then sign out and back in if search results and the title page disagree.
- Check Peacock’s current catalog directly, because episode availability can change.
What we know about Series 2
The BBC has confirmed that the second series is coming to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2026. That establishes a UK return window, not a specific August 18 Episode 3 date and not a confirmed U.S. release schedule.
When a future U.S. date is announced, it should come from Peacock or another official rights-holder announcement. The current availability of Series 1 does not prove that every Series 2 episode will arrive in the United States at the same time as the UK broadcast.
Where to watch
Watch The Celebrity Traitors: UK in the U.S. on Peacock. Premium is the practical starting tier based on Peacock’s current plan descriptions. Open Peacock’s streaming guide or go directly to the title page.
