For the 2026/27 PDC World Darts Championship, UK and Ireland viewers can watch through Sky Sports or stream with NOW; US viewers have Peacock confirmed for coverage, but its session-by-session schedule is not yet available. No legal free stream of the whole tournament has been confirmed. The championship is scheduled for the Christmas and New Year period, with NBC Sports listing December 10, 2026 to January 3, 2027, while Sky Sports lists December 11 as the opening date. Check the final PDC schedule for the confirmed start date and session times.
This guide is about the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in London—not the WDF World Championship, the former BDO championship, or other PDC events such as the World Matchplay or World Masters. Because the event begins in 2026 and ends in 2027, it is best described as the 2026/27 championship.
The detailed PDC broadcaster guide available for comparison covers the completed 2025/26 tournament. Rights and session allocations can change, so the territory listings below distinguish confirmed 2026/27 information from last season’s precedent.

UK and Ireland: Sky Sports or NOW
Sky Sports is the principal live home of the PDC World Championship in the UK and Ireland. Sky’s PDC partnership runs through 2030, and its event coverage information identifies the championship as live on Sky Sports. Exact channel branding and numbers may change, so check the Sky schedule for the session you want rather than relying on an old channel listing. For online viewing, NOW offers Sky Sports through a Sports Membership. Its help page says Sports Day and Sports Month Memberships include live PDC World Darts Championship matches. A Day Membership may suit someone watching one session; a Month Membership is more practical if you plan to follow multiple days. Check NOW’s current price, terms and session availability before buying, since offers and membership prices change. See NOW’s darts viewing help and its darts membership page.
Sky Sports or NOW are paid options, not a free full-event stream. A subscription bought in one country may also be limited when you travel; check the service’s travel rules and the broadcaster licensed where you are watching.
United States: Peacock is confirmed; check the final schedule
NBC Sports has confirmed Peacock coverage of the 2026 World Championship through its agreement with the PDC. Its March 2026 announcement describes coverage of “select portions” of PDC events, so confirmation of Peacock does not mean every championship session is already guaranteed there. Check the NBC Sports announcement and the event schedule before subscribing for a specific match.

For the 2025/26 championship, NBC Sports said Peacock carried more than 100 hours, and its coverage listing included the semifinals and final on NBC Sports NOW. The PDC’s previous guide also listed FanDuel TV Extra in the US, while identifying Peacock for some sessions. These are useful precedents, not confirmation of the 2026/27 lineup. For the next edition, verify whether the match you want is on Peacock, NBC Sports NOW, FanDuel TV Extra or another licensed service. NBC Sports’ 2025/26 announcement and the PDC’s previous viewing guide show how coverage was split last season.
Peacock is a paid service. Its displayed price at the time of the research was $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year; pricing and plans can change, so check the official Peacock sports page before signing up. No free US stream of the entire 2026/27 event has been confirmed.
Is there a free legal stream?
There is no verified promise of a free, legal video stream of every 2026/27 session. Free-to-air coverage may exist in particular countries, and a broadcaster could offer selected matches without charge, but neither should be assumed until the rights-holder confirms it for this edition.

Legal free ways to follow at least part of the event may include official match clips and highlights, official social posts, or a local broadcaster’s free-to-air coverage. Audio commentary may also be available: the PDC’s 2025/26 guide listed talkSPORT2 for UK listeners. Radio is commentary, not live video, and its availability for the new edition should be checked.
A highlights video is not a live stream. Unofficial mirror sites, pirate IPTV services and unauthorized bookmaker streams are not legitimate alternatives, and may expose viewers to deceptive ads, unwanted downloads or payment scams. Leave any site that demands a special player, browser extension, APK, gift card or cryptocurrency to watch.
International broadcasters: check your country
The following were territory listings in the PDC’s 2025/26 guide. Treat them as a starting point, not as a confirmed 2026/27 rights list. Look for the new PDC “where to watch” guide or check the local broadcaster closer to the event.

Rights are territorial. A service available in your home country may not carry the event where you are travelling, and a subscription from elsewhere does not guarantee access. Use the licensed service for the country you are physically in; a VPN is not a reliable fix and may conflict with a platform’s terms.
Can you watch live on PDCTV?
PDCTV is not a universal worldwide stream of the championship. In the PDC’s previous guide, PDCTV subscribers outside the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland were listed for coverage, reflecting local broadcast rights. That territory rule is a previous-season reference, not a guarantee of the 2026/27 arrangement. Check the new PDC guide for your country before paying: a local broadcaster may hold the live rights or block PDCTV from showing the event.

The 2026/27 championship falls across December 2026 and January 2027. NBC Sports’ March announcement lists December 10, 2026 to January 3, 2027; a Sky Sports article gives December 11 to January 3. Because the opening date differs between these listings, check the final PDC schedule before making plans. Session times can also change, especially around Christmas and New Year.

When the official session schedule is available, compare the listed London time with your local time. For US viewers, Eastern and Pacific start times vary by session; do not rely on a single conversion for the whole event. Confirm the date as well as the hour, since a London evening session may fall on a different calendar date in North America. Use the broadcaster’s live schedule on the day, not just a search-result time.
How to watch on a TV, phone or streaming device
- Choose the service licensed for the country where you will watch: Sky Sports or NOW in the UK and Ireland, Peacock as a confirmed US option, or the local rights-holder elsewhere.
- Create an account or sign in. Paid services may require a valid payment method and a subscription that includes the event.
- Search for “PDC World Darts Championship” and confirm the event date and session. Do not confuse it with another PDC tournament.
- Check the service’s current supported-device information for your smart TV, streaming device, browser, phone or tablet. App availability can vary by device and country.
- Test the app or web player before the session begins. A reliable local internet connection, current app and accurate device clock can help avoid basic playback problems.
- If a listing is missing in the app, try the service’s website and check the broadcaster’s schedule before buying a pass.
Live access does not automatically mean a full replay will be available. If you cannot watch live, check whether the platform offers full-match replays, condensed replays or only highlights before subscribing. Replay rights and retention periods can differ from live coverage.
If the event is missing or the stream fails
- The event is not in the app: Confirm that you are signed into the right country account, search by the full event name, and check the broadcaster’s live schedule. Make sure the session has not moved to another service.
- The app fails but the event is listed: Update or restart the app, then try the web player. If the web player also fails, check the platform’s service status or contact support.
- Peacock has other sessions, but not your match: This may be a rights split, not a technical problem. Check the official NBC Sports schedule and PDC guide for the correct service and confirm whether a listing is live or on demand.
- NOW shows another darts tournament: Search by event name and date, then verify the event logo and session before purchasing a Day Membership.
- You are travelling and the stream is blocked: Check whether your subscription allows access while travelling, or use the broadcaster licensed in your current country. Official highlights or audio may be alternatives if live video is unavailable.
- The stream buffers: Check your connection, close other high-bandwidth apps and restart the player. If available, try another supported device or a wired connection.
- A “free stream” asks for software or payment details: Close the page. Repeated redirects, fake play buttons, unexplained downloads and gift-card or cryptocurrency requests are warning signs.
Which option makes sense?
- UK or Ireland, several sessions: Sky Sports or NOW Sports Month.
- UK or Ireland, one session: Check whether NOW’s Sports Day Membership covers the session you want.
- United States: Start with Peacock, then confirm the exact session; do not assume NBC Sports NOW or FanDuel TV Extra will repeat last season’s role.
- Elsewhere: Check the 2026/27 PDC rights guide for your country, then consider PDCTV only if your territory is eligible.
- Watching free: Look for a confirmed local free-to-air broadcast or official selected coverage. There is no confirmed free full-tournament stream.
ITV should not be assumed to carry the World Championship: its current PDC extension covers other tournaments, while the championship remains associated with Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland. See ITV’s announcement of its PDC events.
