Ways U.S. viewers could watch online
Peacock
Peacock was the most complete online option. It carried the full Round 4 window, featured groups and additional digital feeds, including the Par-3 Channel. Peacock’s Multiview feature was also promoted for watching multiple feeds simultaneously. For a present-day viewer, its current service page and the specific replay listing are the relevant places to check.

Peacock is the best fit if you want the archived final round in one place or already use the service for other NBCUniversal programming. It is a poor fit if the replay has left the catalog or if you only want one old broadcast and do not otherwise need a subscription. No current subscription price or free-trial offer should be assumed without checking Peacock’s live plan page.
NBC Sports
The NBC Sports website or app provided an authenticated streaming route for viewers with a participating cable, satellite or live-TV provider. Sign-in requirements, menus and replay rights can change after an event, and NBC Sports streaming may not include every Peacock-exclusive feed.
Live-TV streaming services
Contemporaneous viewing guides listed Fubo as a live-TV alternative carrying the relevant USA Network and NBC channels, subject to local-channel availability and the viewer’s ZIP code. This type of service makes more sense for someone replacing cable or watching many live sports than for someone seeking only an archived final round. Historical references to a free trial or promotional price should not be treated as current terms.
Over-the-air antenna
An antenna could provide the NBC portion for viewers within reliable reception range of a local NBC affiliate. It would not necessarily provide the early USA Network window, Peacock-only feeds or an on-demand replay. Because reception depends on location, check local broadcast availability before buying equipment.

What digital coverage included
The 2025 Open offered more than one linear television feed. The official digital presentation included:
- Featured Groups coverage.
- A dedicated Par-3 Channel focused on holes 6 and 16 at Royal Portrush.
- Live scoring, leaderboard information and a live blog on TheOpen.com.
- Player and tournament statistics through ShotView.
- Official app notifications, highlights, radio and video-on-demand material.
- Peacock Multiview for following multiple feeds at once.
These features were part of the 2025 event coverage and should not be assumed to remain available in the same form after the tournament.
Can you watch it for free?
There was no safe basis for promising a universally free, uninterrupted full Round 4 broadcast online. During the live event, The Open’s website and app offered selected digital content such as highlights, leaderboard information, radio and some streams. Full U.S. coverage through Peacock or authenticated NBC Sports access could require an account, subscription or participating TV-provider login.
An antenna may have delivered the NBC portion at no ongoing streaming cost for viewers in range of a local affiliate, but it would not have covered every feed. Do not assume that a current Peacock free trial, price or free full replay is available without checking the account page at the time of viewing.

Watching outside the United States
Broadcast rights are territorial. U.S. Peacock and NBC access should not be expected to work in every country, and the availability of a replay can differ by region. Use the broadcaster licensed for your country rather than assuming that a U.S. service is the correct route.
For the United Kingdom and Ireland, Sky Sports was the relevant 2025 broadcast partner. Other territories had their own arrangements. A VPN should not be treated as a guaranteed or default solution: bypassing territorial restrictions may conflict with a provider’s terms, and playback can still fail.
If the Peacock replay will not play
- Confirm that you are signed in to the intended Peacock account.
- Search Peacock directly for The Open: Rd. 4 instead of relying on a deep link.
- Update the Peacock app or try a supported desktop browser.
- Temporarily disable content blockers that may interfere with video playback.
- Check whether the replay is available in your country.
- If the full replay has expired, use TheOpen.com’s archive and NBC Sports highlights.
Most importantly, do not look for a live stream of this event: Round 4 ended on July 20, 2025.
Official results and highlights
For the result and final-round video, see NBC Sports’ coverage of Scottie Scheffler’s victory. For historical clips and Open Championship films, use The R&A’s archive. The official 2025 web and app announcement also documents the event’s digital features.
