Status: Final. The New England Patriots–Denver Broncos AFC Championship Game was played on Sunday, January 25, 2026. New England won 10–7. There is no live stream now; look for an authorized replay or official highlights instead.
When and where was the game played?
The matchup was the 2026 AFC Championship Game, part of the 2025 NFL season playoffs. The Patriots visited the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Kickoff was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. MT, and the national broadcast was on CBS. The final score was Patriots 10, Broncos 7. NFL matchup details and the Associated Press game report confirm the event and result.
In the Boston market, the local CBS affiliate was WBZ-TV. Broadcast and streaming instructions below describe U.S. options; rights and providers differ in other countries.

Start with official NFL and team pages. A full replay, condensed game, or audio replay may not remain available indefinitely, and access can depend on subscription, device, territory, and archive rights. A highlight package is not the same as a full-game replay.

- Open the Patriots game archive and look for its NFL+ Game Center re-watch option.
- Search the official NFL game coverage and NFL app for Patriots vs. Broncos, checking whether a replay or condensed game is currently offered.
- Check the Broncos game coverage and team archive for postgame material.
- If a full replay is unavailable, use official NFL or team highlights. For audio, check the teams’ official coverage pages for any remaining radio or postgame archive.
NFL+ was listed among the original viewing options, but that does not guarantee the game is still in its replay library. If the replay link is missing or access is restricted, official highlights are the reliable fallback.
Was there a free legal way to watch?
For the original live broadcast in the United States, the genuinely free option identified was a digital antenna receiving a local CBS affiliate. It was free after obtaining an antenna, but only for viewers within reception range. It does not provide an internet stream and cannot recreate the live broadcast now. Paramount’s playoff guide also described antenna reception as a way to watch CBS without a pay-TV subscription.

How the antenna option worked
- Check which CBS affiliate serves your ZIP code and whether its signal reaches your location.
- Connect an indoor or outdoor digital antenna to the TV, positioning it near a window or as high as practical.
- Run the television’s channel scan, then select the local CBS station.
Distance, terrain, buildings, and antenna placement affect reception. If CBS did not appear, rescanning, repositioning, or checking the station’s signal map could help; an amplifier is not guaranteed to fix a weak signal.

Paramount+ and NFL+ were subscription services, not universally free streams. A trial, if offered at a particular time, is separate from a free stream and may require payment details or renew automatically.

Paramount+: check the local CBS feed, not just the service name
Paramount’s playoff guide promoted the AFC Championship stream, while its plan documentation says Essential does not include the local live CBS station and Premium includes that feed subject to availability. These statements concern different descriptions and plan conditions; a Paramount+ subscription alone should not be taken as proof that every tier or market carries live CBS. Check the plan and local station availability directly in the Paramount+ signup flow and Paramount plan details.
For the original live broadcast, the path was to sign in, confirm the account’s local live CBS access, open Paramount+ on a supported device, and select the local CBS feed in the live-TV area. The game is over, so subscribing now does not guarantee a replay. Check the replay listing before paying if that is your only reason to join.
If the local feed did not appear, verify the plan and location, sign out and back in, update the app, and try the web version or another supported device. For a past game, use the official archive route rather than expecting the live channel to carry it.

The NFL’s playoff guide listed NFL+ for the conference championship and described live playoff viewing on mobile devices. That makes it a more natural choice for phone or tablet viewers than for anyone expecting unrestricted television access. Do not assume a TV app or casting setup is eligible for live viewing.

NFL support listed NFL+ prices of $6.99 monthly and $49.99 annually on its pricing page; pricing can change, so confirm it before subscribing. NFL+ pricing and plan support and the NFL playoff guide describe the service. After signing in to the NFL app or NFL.com, search for the game and check for a replay or condensed version. Live access and replay rights can differ; if no replay is listed, try the Patriots archive or official highlights.
Other viewing cases and options to avoid
Existing live-TV subscription
If you already subscribed to a service carrying your local CBS affiliate, its CBS channel may have shown the game. This was not a free option; it simply required no additional payment at the point of viewing for an existing subscriber. Local station carriage and address-based restrictions vary. CBS Boston also discussed YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket as availability routes, but Sunday Ticket is generally built around out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, not the simplest default for a nationally televised conference championship. Outside the United States
Use the NFL’s territory-specific broadcaster or authorized international product for your country. U.S. CBS, Paramount+, and NFL+ instructions do not establish access elsewhere. Do not treat a VPN as a substitute for authorized regional rights.
