How to watch the debut replay now
The original live broadcast window has passed, so a current search should focus on on-demand video rather than a live listing. Use these steps:
- Open the official WNBA Watch page, or visit the WNBA schedule and locate the May 14, 2024 game between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun.
- Sign in with a WNBA account if the site or app requests one.
- Choose the full-game replay if it is available in your location. If not, select the official highlights or another shorter video of the game.
- If the full replay is locked, check whether it is included with WNBA League Pass or with the service through which you originally purchased access.
The WNBA Help Center says League Pass subscribers receive edited full-game replays without commercial breaks. The league says replays can take several hours to process after a game and can be found through the WNBA app’s Games page, the WNBA.com Schedule page, or the Watch section’s Run It Back area. Those processing notes are more relevant to recent games, but the same official locations are the best places to check for an older game.

The WNBA’s League Pass information describes the service as offering live and on-demand games, full-length game replays, classic games, enhanced playback controls, and viewing on up to three devices at once. Supported devices and purchase methods—including WNBA.com, the WNBA app, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, and mobile devices—can vary by country.
Was the game on ESPN2, ESPN+, or Disney+?
It was on all three of those listed U.S. outlets, but they were not interchangeable in every circumstance. ESPN2 was the television network, ESPN+ was ESPN’s subscription streaming service, and Disney+ was another listed streaming destination for the event. That distinction matters if you are trying to find the game today: the fact that Disney+ or ESPN+ carried the original broadcast does not guarantee that the full 2024 event remains in that platform’s current on-demand library. The WNBA’s own Watch page and League Pass replay listing are the more durable places to begin.
Can you watch it with WNBA League Pass?
League Pass is the most relevant official replay option, but it should not be confused with the original live broadcast listing. Nationally televised WNBA games in the United States can be unavailable live on League Pass because of the rights held by outlets such as ESPN2 or Disney+. The league generally says nationally blacked-out games become available on League Pass at 6:00 a.m. ET the following day, while locally televised games generally become available shortly after the game.

For a game from 2024, those original blackout rules are no longer the main issue. The WNBA notes that restrictions vary by viewer location and can change. Check the game entry before subscribing solely to watch this one replay.
In select markets, League Pass can also be purchased through Amazon Prime Subscriptions. That is an alternative purchase route—not evidence that Amazon carried Clark’s original debut—and platform limitations may apply to customers who subscribe through Amazon. What happened in Caitlin Clark’s debut?
Connecticut defeated Indiana 92–71 at Mohegan Sun Arena. Clark led the Fever with 20 points, but she also committed 10 turnovers. ESPN reported that the 10 turnovers were the most in a WNBA career debut.
Those numbers provide context for the historical broadcast, but they are not a substitute for checking the video listing: the full replay is the best option if you want to see how Clark handled her first professional game, including the pace, defensive pressure, and adjustments that do not appear in a box score.
