What the FC Porto Tour includes
The visit is designed as one combined attraction: first the FC Porto Museum, then the stadium areas made available on that day. That announcement described audio, video and 360-degree material. It is old, however, so do not rely on the app or assume every feature is still offered without checking the current visitor information.
Plan the visit before travelling
- Choose a date without a stadium conflict. Check the club’s fixture and event information for home matches, the day before a UEFA match and major events on the pitch. Stadium tours are not offered on those restricted dates.
- Buy the appropriate ticket from the current official listing. Read the selected date, exclusions and delivery conditions before payment because the listed public ticket is non-refundable.
- Keep the emailed ticket available. The store listing says tickets are sent by email. Save the message offline if your mobile connection may be unreliable at the stadium.
- Arrive with enough time for reception. The stadium time is booked at the museum reception on the day of your visit. A ticket purchase alone does not replace this same-day time allocation.
- Allow roughly two hours on site. Add travel time and a buffer in case the first available stadium slot is later than expected.

Why older prices may appear online
A separate tariff PDF marked valid from 1 December 2023 lists a €20 adult combined ticket, €15 for seniors aged 65 and over, €10 for children aged 5–12, and free entry for ages 0–4. Those figures are dated and conflict with the current €25 adult public listing. Use the current store page for present-day pricing; use the older PDF only as historical context, not as a promise of what you will pay.
Do you need to book the stadium tour in advance?
You need a ticket, but FC Porto’s visitor instructions say the stadium-tour time itself is booked at the museum reception on the day of the visit. This makes arrival timing important: go to reception before settling into the museum so you can receive the available stadium slot.
What can happen at reception
- Capacity limits: A particular time may be full even when you hold a valid combined ticket.
- Changed route: The club may alter which stadium areas are accessible.
- Cancellation: FC Porto reserves the right to cancel or change a tour without prior notice.
- Different operating format: The visitor page displayed a self-guided arrangement only until 13 September 2026. Since that date has passed, confirm whether your date uses a self-guided route, a scheduled tour or another format.
If the stadium is unavailable, ask reception what museum-only admission or another available visit option applies to your date. The older tariff sheet describes museum-only admission for days when the stadium cannot be used, but its prices are not current.
Can you visit Estádio do Dragão on match day?
Do not plan a stadium tour on a match day. FC Porto states that stadium tours do not run on match days, on the day before a UEFA match or on days when a major event occupies the pitch. The same restrictions can affect access even when the museum itself is open.
Check more than the kickoff date
- A match on the following day can block the tour on the eve of a UEFA fixture.
- A concert or other major pitch event can change the route or cancel stadium access.
- Fixtures and event operations can alter the practical visit format without changing the museum’s normal published hours.
Check the club’s date-specific visitor information immediately before travelling. If your trip is built around a match weekend, schedule the museum and stadium on a non-restricted day rather than assuming that an unused ticket can be transferred.

Opening hours and holiday exceptions
FC Porto’s visitor page lists the museum as open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00. The following exceptions are also listed:

Metro
Estádio do Dragão station is served by Metro do Porto lines A (Blue), B (Red), E (Purple) and F (Orange). From the station, follow the stadium signage and allow a few minutes to reach the museum entrance and reception area. Check the operator’s live timetable and service notices on the day because frequencies and engineering works are not fixed by the club’s visitor page.
Bus
FC Porto’s Portuguese-language visitor page lists STCP routes 401 and 806. Confirm the route direction, stop and operating times with STCP before setting out, particularly on Sundays, holidays or event days.

Driving and parking
The older tariff sheet describes parking as limited and unavailable on match days. It does not establish a current parking allocation or guarantee a space on ordinary days. If you drive, verify the latest parking instructions and leave extra time for event-related traffic; public transport is the more predictable choice when a match or major event is taking place nearby.
What to expect on arrival
- Go to the museum reception first. Present your emailed ticket and, if using a member fare, be ready to show current membership evidence.
- Collect a free ticket for a child aged 0–4. The store listing says reception must issue it even though admission is free.
- Receive the stadium time. Ask staff to explain where the stadium route begins and how early you should report back.
- Visit the museum around that time. If your slot is later, use the intervening period for the exhibits rather than leaving the site and risking a missed allocation.
- Follow staff directions. Access can be capacity-controlled, and the route may differ from descriptions or photographs published earlier.
Comfortable shoes are sensible because the combined visit involves moving between museum displays and stadium areas. Keep your ticket email and any membership proof accessible until the entire visit is complete.
How long should you allow?
Use FC Porto’s 90-minute-to-two-hour estimate for the combined visit as the on-site planning baseline. The lower end suits visitors who move efficiently through the museum; the upper end is more realistic if you read exhibit text, pause for club-history displays or wait for a later stadium slot.

The club’s older tariff sheet specifically refers to museum-only admission when the stadium is unavailable, but it does not provide a current price. Do not use the 2023 figures to estimate what you will be charged now.

If you have already purchased a non-refundable combined ticket, contact the official ticketing or museum service promptly and explain the date-specific restriction. The published store terms should determine whether any change is possible; do not assume a refund or automatic conversion.

Young children
Children aged 0–4 are listed as free, but reception must issue their ticket. Anyone under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The current listing summarized here does not state a separate present-day price for ages 5–11, so check the live ticket options before purchase.
Members
