To run prerecorded videos as a continuous YouTube livestream with Gyre, upload the actual video files to Gyre, arrange them into a playlist, connect your YouTube channel, configure the broadcast, and start or schedule it. Gyre runs the playlist from its cloud, so your computer does not need to stay on as the streaming machine. First confirm that YouTube has enabled livestreaming for your channel and that your content is cleared for broadcast.

Before you start: check YouTube eligibility and content rights

YouTube requires a verified channel with no livestreaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. The minimum age to livestream is 16. Check your channel’s status before preparing the broadcast; YouTube can restrict livestream access, and an active restriction may also prevent livestreaming from another channel. See YouTube’s livestreaming requirements.

Use only video and audio you have the right to broadcast. A prerecorded loop is still a YouTube livestream and must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Using Gyre does not resolve copyright or channel-policy issues. Nor does looping a video guarantee monetization: eligibility depends on your channel’s status and YouTube’s policies.

Prepare video files Gyre can use

Upload the files, not links to existing YouTube videos

Gyre’s Help Center says this workflow uses prerecorded video files uploaded to Gyre storage. Existing YouTube uploads or playlists are not simply linked in place; have the source files available locally and upload those files to Gyre. See Gyre’s video preparation guidance.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Check the listed HD and Full HD settings

Gyre lists these values for HD and Full HD files:

  • Resolution: 1920Ă—1080 or 1280Ă—720
  • Video codec: H.264
  • Video bitrate: 3072–6144 kbps
  • Audio bitrate: 128 kbps
  • Frame rate: 30 fps

The same help page lists “44.1 kHz” under “Frame rates.” Because kHz is not a frame-rate unit, treat that entry as a labeling error, not a confirmed audio sample-rate requirement; check with Gyre if your audio settings need to match a specific requirement.

Build a playlist that feels intentional

Choose videos on a consistent subject and review them for dated overlays or material that will feel stale when repeated. Gyre recommends a playlist at least one hour long, ideally three to five hours. Those are Gyre’s editorial recommendations, not YouTube rules. A longer, coherent rotation can make the loop less repetitive for viewers who watch for an extended period.

Upload the videos and create a playlist

  1. Upload the source files: Add your videos to Gyre Storage. If a file’s codec, resolution, or bitrate does not fit the platform’s needs, Gyre says its converter can help adapt it.
  2. Inspect converted files: Conversion is not a guarantee of playback quality. Check the output and, once the broadcast starts, confirm that video and audio play as intended.
  3. Arrange the playlist: Put the uploaded videos in the order you want them to play. Review the sequence as a viewer would experience it, including repeated transitions when the playlist loops.

Gyre’s workflow and cloud looping are described on its product page and in its guide to streaming prerecorded video.

Connect YouTube and configure the broadcast

Gyre describes two ways to set up the destination. Its YouTube API workflow authorizes your channel so Gyre can create the broadcast and pass along details such as metadata. The manual method uses a YouTube stream key and RTMP address; Gyre says it remains available for creators who need advanced YouTube Studio configurations. Gyre’s interface and available controls can change, so follow the options shown in your account rather than relying on a fixed click-by-click path.

  1. Choose a connection method: Authorize your YouTube channel for the API workflow, or use manual stream creation if you need the additional YouTube Studio controls it supports.
  2. Review authorization: If you authorize channel access, review the permissions presented during connection. Revoke access in your Google account if you later stop using the service.
  3. Set the broadcast details: Enter or review the title, description, thumbnail, and other stream metadata. The API workflow can pass these details to YouTube, according to Gyre’s YouTube API automation update.
  4. Check the stream key if using manual setup: Use the key and RTMP address associated with the intended YouTube broadcast. Handle the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to send video to your stream.

Start or schedule the continuous stream

Start the broadcast in Gyre when the playlist and YouTube details are ready. Gyre also describes a Streams Scheduler, but scheduling availability depends on the current plan and workflow; confirm that it is available in your account before planning around it. Once running, the cloud service plays the playlist continuously and loops it.

YouTube’s documented limits are up to 10 active streams per channel and up to 3 active streams per stream key. Both limits apply at the same time. If you plan multiple simultaneous broadcasts, check both ceilings as well as Gyre’s current plan limits.

Check monetization and discovery expectations

Gyre markets continuous streaming for discovery and monetization, but those outcomes are not guaranteed. YouTube’s channel eligibility and policy decisions govern whether a stream can be monetized. Gyre’s API update says monetization-related options can be managed, but automatic monetization still depends on a setting in YouTube Studio. Check that setting and your channel’s status rather than assuming ads will appear.

Troubleshoot common setup problems

The channel cannot start a livestream

Check that the channel is verified and has no livestreaming restriction from the previous 90 days. Confirm the channel meets YouTube’s age requirement and that livestreaming is enabled for it. If YouTube has restricted access, changing the streaming tool does not remove that restriction.

The video is missing from Gyre

Upload the source file to Gyre storage. A YouTube video URL or existing YouTube playlist is not a substitute for uploading the video file for this workflow.

The file does not play as expected

Compare it with Gyre’s listed HD/Full HD values for resolution, H.264 video, bitrate, and frame rate. If you use Gyre’s converter, inspect the converted output and test playback; do not assume conversion has preserved the intended quality.

The broadcast does not start with the API or manual setup

For API authorization, check that the intended YouTube channel is connected and review any permission or connection prompts. For manual setup, verify that you entered the stream key and RTMP address for the intended broadcast. If YouTube’s channel limits have been reached, close an unnecessary active stream or use a different eligible stream key, while observing the simultaneous channel and key limits.

The stream is live, but ads or discovery are absent

Check YouTube Studio’s monetization setting and the channel’s monetization status. Neither a continuous loop nor a particular Gyre setup guarantees ads, reach, or revenue.
