The first uses YouTube’s playlist Loop control; the second requires an eligible channel and an encoder or cloud streaming service. Repeating a playlist as a viewer does not create a YouTube Live broadcast.
Repeat a Tamil lesson playlist while watching
YouTube’s playlist repeat control works the same way for Tamil lessons as it does for other videos; no Tamil-specific setting is needed. This repeats playback for you, not for other viewers as a live broadcast.
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- On a computer: expand the playlist panel and select the Loop control. If you want to repeat just the current lesson, use the single-video repeat option where available.
- On a phone: open the playlist control box beneath the video and use its Loop control.
- On a TV or game console: open the playback controls and choose Repeat until the playlist-repeating indicator appears.
YouTube can change interface wording or placement, so look for the control that repeats the playlist rather than relying only on a particular button position.
Broadcast prerecorded Tamil lessons as a YouTube Live event
If you want viewers to join a live watch page while lessons play, set up a live event and send it a repeating video feed. YouTube documents this through an encoder workflow; the playlist Repeat button alone does not start a broadcast.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
1. Check channel eligibility
Confirm that your channel is verified, livestreaming is enabled, and there are no current livestream restrictions. YouTube says first-time livestream enablement can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before the time you plan to broadcast.
2. Create or schedule the live event
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live.
- Use the Live Control Room to create or schedule the event.
- Choose an encoder workflow. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders; the encoder is what sends the video feed to the event.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room into the encoder. Treat the key as private: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your stream.
3. Make the lesson source repeat
Set the video source or playlist to repeat in the playback or encoder setup you choose. The YouTube guidance covered here does not specify a repeat procedure for a particular encoder, so the exact menu names depend on that product. Check its documentation for how to loop a playlist, and confirm that playback continues smoothly from the end of the final lesson back to the first.

4. Preview, start, and monitor
- Check the encoder preview before starting the event. Confirm that the picture and audio are present and that the intended lesson is playing.
- Open the watch page and check that it works on a phone as well as on your own device.
- Monitor audio and video during the broadcast. Stop sending the encoder feed when the event is finished.
YouTube’s encoder setup guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume the same archive behavior for a longer broadcast.
Check rights before rebroadcasting lessons
Only include lessons, music, images, and other material that your channel has the necessary rights to broadcast. YouTube’s livestream terms require the provider to hold the rights needed for worldwide exploitation of the live content. Its copyright guidance warns that a stream may be interrupted or terminated if third-party material is detected and not addressed. A video being available to watch on YouTube does not, by itself, grant permission to retransmit it in a live stream.
