You can sometimes save a Tubidy search result as an MP4 by finding the video, opening its result page, choosing the video-download option, and saving the finished file through your browser. The steps and available sources vary by Tubidy-branded domain, and a video being publicly viewable does not by itself give you permission to copy it. Download only content you own or are authorized to use; when available, prefer the original platform’s official download option.
Before you download
- Check your rights. Use Tubidy only for a video you made, have permission to download, or whose license clearly allows downloading. A creator may control copying and distribution of an original video; YouTube’s copyright guidance explains that ownership and exceptions depend on the circumstances and country: YouTube copyright guidance.
- Check the domain. There is no single clearly standardized Tubidy interface. For example, new.tubidy.mobi’s terms describe a search and conversion service, while Tubidy.fm’s terms describe streaming access. A site’s description of itself is not independent verification that different Tubidy domains share an operator. Review the domain, terms, privacy policy, and browser security indicators; do not enter personal information just to download a file.
- Prepare your device. Use a current browser, a stable connection, and enough storage for the video. Large files can use substantial mobile data. Your browser normally controls where downloads are saved, and its settings may let you choose a location, as described in the Tubidy.sc FAQ.
- Prefer a first-party option when possible. Use the original platform’s official download or offline feature, ask the creator for a copy, or download from a creator’s site or a clearly licensed source. For your own YouTube uploads, use YouTube’s account or export tools rather than a third-party converter.
How to download a video from Tubidy
- Open the intended Tubidy site directly. Avoid search ads, pop-ups, and unofficial app listings that imitate the service. Button names and features can differ between domains.
- Search for the video. Enter its title, creator, artist, or other identifying details. The Tubidy.sc FAQ says its initial results may come from YouTube and that a “Load more” action can add results from another source; other domains may use a different source mix.
- Check the result. Compare the title, creator, thumbnail, duration, and source with the video you intended to find. Don’t download a result that looks mislabeled or unrelated.
- Open the video result or playback page. Some interfaces present download choices after you open the result. A Tubidy help page describes selecting the desired video link from the playback page.
- Choose MP4 for video. If the page offers MP4 and MP3, select MP4 to retain the picture. MP3 is audio only. The Tubidy.sc FAQ identifies MP4 and MP3 options for YouTube results; it does not establish a universal resolution or quality menu for every Tubidy site.
- Wait for processing, if prompted. A converted result may take time before a download link appears. Don’t keep opening unrelated prompts while it processes.
- Use the actual download control. It should clearly identify a file or start the browser’s normal download process. Ignore requests to enable notifications, install an extension, scan your device, or download unrelated software.
- Find the saved file. Check your browser’s Downloads list or configured download folder. Common locations include Downloads in Android’s Files app, the browser’s Downloads folder on Windows or macOS, and the Files app’s Downloads location on iPhone or iPad. Exact paths depend on device and browser settings.
MP4 or MP3: which should you choose?
Choose MP4 when you need the video image and sound together. Choose MP3 only when you want an audio-only file; it does not retain the picture. Tubidy.sc documents those choices for some search results, but formats and source support are not consistent across every Tubidy-branded domain. No universal resolution, codec, frame rate, or file-size option is established.
Why a Tubidy download may not work
Limits documented in the Tubidy.sc FAQ apply to that site’s service, not necessarily to every domain using the Tubidy name:

- Livestream: Live content may not be available as a completed file to download.
- Private or login-required video: Private videos and age-restricted videos that require a login may fail. Do not use a downloader to bypass privacy or age controls.
- Video longer than 90 minutes: Tubidy.sc says these videos may appear in results but cannot be downloaded there.
- Daily limit: The FAQ says reaching its daily download limit may temporarily block an IP address for 24 hours. Wait rather than trying to evade the restriction.
- Conversion error: The source may be unavailable, or processing may stall. Browser compatibility or cached data can also contribute to errors.
Troubleshoot a failed download
- Check that the video is public and playable without signing in, and that it is not a livestream.
- If you are using Tubidy.sc, check whether the video exceeds the site’s stated 90-minute limit.
- Refresh the page and try the conversion again. If it remains stuck, clear the browser cache; the Tubidy.sc FAQ recommends refreshing, clearing cache, or trying another browser.
- Try a different current browser, then check that your device has enough free storage and that you can locate browser downloads.
- If you may have reached Tubidy.sc’s daily limit, wait 24 hours rather than attempting to get around the IP block.
- Stop if the page repeatedly redirects, demands suspicious permissions, triggers a fake CAPTCHA, or offers a file with an unexpected extension. A video should not require an executable such as .exe, .apk, or .dmg, or a browser extension.
Is downloading from Tubidy legal?
It depends on the video, the permission or license attached to it, the platform’s terms, and the law that applies where you are. Publicly viewable does not mean free to copy. YouTube’s Terms of Service, dated March 17, 2025, restrict downloading or other uses unless the service expressly permits them, the rights holder gives permission, or applicable law allows it: YouTube Terms of Service. A Tubidy domain’s terms cannot grant rights to someone else’s video; new.tubidy.mobi’s terms also prohibit downloading infringing content. A Creative Commons or other license may allow some uses, but check its exact conditions, including attribution requirements. Reposting, editing, public screening, or commercial use can require additional permission. Personal viewing is not a blanket legal exception.

How to avoid deceptive download prompts
Ads and lookalike buttons can make a conversion page confusing. Download only when the control clearly corresponds to the video file and the browser begins an expected download. Decline notification requests and do not install software or extensions just to retrieve a video. Google’s unwanted-software guidance describes risks such as deceptive installation and bundled downloads. If the resulting file is not a video or has an unexpected extension, do not open it.

When to use another download method
- Use the platform’s official download or offline feature when one is available and authorized for your account or region.
- Ask the creator for the original file or written permission if you need a copy.
- For public-domain or Creative Commons material, download from a source that clearly states the license and its terms.
- For a video you uploaded yourself, use the original platform’s account tools or an export feature.
