In Streamlabs Desktop, open Settings > Get Support > Upload Diagnostic Report, wait for the upload to finish, then copy the generated code into the Diagnostic Report Code field on Streamlabs’ support form. Submit the code—not a screenshot—along with a clear description of the problem.
Create the diagnostic report code

Open Streamlabs Desktop and select Settings.

Open Get Support.

Select Upload Diagnostic Report. Wait for the upload to finish and for the report code to appear.

Copy the code so you can paste it into your support request.
The menu labels are those used in Streamlabs’ English-language support instructions; they may change as the application is updated. See Streamlabs’ diagnostic report and cache-folder instructions.

Submit the code in a support request

Open the Streamlabs support request form and choose the relevant product or issue category.

Describe what is happening, then paste the generated code into the Diagnostic Report Code field. Streamlabs specifically asks for the code rather than screenshots.

Add useful context to the description: when the issue began, what action triggers it, which platform is affected, and relevant operating-system, app-version, or system details requested by the form. Fields can vary according to the selected product or category.

Review the ticket and submit it. Keep the report code associated with this issue in case support follows up.

If Desktop cannot generate a report
Use the cache-folder method only when the regular report is unavailable. Streamlabs’ instructions are to locate the slobs-client folder, compress it if possible, upload it to a file-sharing service, and provide the sharing link in the ticket as directed.

macOS: Open
~/Library/Application Supportand locateslobs-client.
Follow the full Streamlabs folder-location instructions for your operating system. The support article says to make the uploaded folder link public. That means people who have the link may be able to access it: share it only in the support request, only as requested, and check that the intended recipient can open it.

When crash telemetry is the requested evidence
A crash report is a separate workflow, not a substitute for the standard diagnostic report code. If support asks for additional crash information, use Streamlabs’ crash-reporting instructions: enable additional reporting, restart the app, and after another crash upload the additional information. Then give support the resulting filename.
Give support issue-specific details when relevant
There is no single extra checklist for every support ticket. Include details that help reproduce or narrow down your issue, and follow any requirements shown for the selected category. For example, Streamlabs’ multistream troubleshooting guidance asks affected users for the location, when symptoms began, affected platforms, a diagnostic report, and a traceroute screenshot. That is an issue-specific request, not a universal requirement.
