You can stream recorded property site tours on YouTube Live by sending a prepared video—or a sequence of tours—from an encoder to YouTube using a stream URL and key. For a continuous Hindi-language feed, first clear the footage and narration for broadcast, confirm the channel can go live, configure and test the encoder, then plan how you will handle stream boundaries and archives. YouTube documents encoder streaming, but does not promise a single stream will run uninterrupted 24/7 or automatically archive after 12 hours.
1. Prepare the property tours for broadcast
Start with a finished export of each tour. Decide whether viewers will see one property repeatedly or a playlist of several tours, and order the videos deliberately. Add clear Hindi narration, captions, or both; captions can help viewers follow property names, locations, and details when audio is off. Check that on-screen text remains legible on a phone and that narration and background audio are balanced.
Before broadcasting, confirm that you have permission to use and stream the footage, music, voice recordings, images, and property information. Check applicable privacy, property-filming, and real-estate advertising requirements for the property and location. YouTube’s encoder instructions explain how to send a stream; they do not grant rights to the material or settle local legal requirements.
2. Confirm the channel is eligible to go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions during the prior 90 days. First-time live-streaming activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned broadcast. Check the channel’s eligibility in YouTube Studio rather than assuming an older channel is already enabled. If a live-streaming restriction is active, YouTube says you cannot evade it by switching to another channel while the restriction remains active.

3. Create the YouTube stream and connect an encoder
YouTube’s encoder workflow supports software running on a computer and standalone hardware encoders. YouTube does not provide a dedicated “loop prerecorded video” button in the documented workflow: the encoder must supply the prepared video continuously. Choose an encoder that can play or loop your files and sustain your intended resolution, and check its RTMPS support, restart behavior, monitoring, and local recording options before relying on it for an extended broadcast.

- In YouTube Studio, open the live-stream creation workflow in Live Control Room. Create or schedule the stream and configure its title, description, visibility, and other stream details for the Hindi property-tour audience.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room into the corresponding fields in your encoder. YouTube describes the key as the information that tells the encoder where to send the feed and allows YouTube to accept it. Treat it like a credential: do not publish it or share it with people who should not be able to send video to your stream.
- Load the finished tour or playlist in the encoder and start sending the feed. Wait for the Live Control Room preview, then check picture, Hindi narration or captions, and sound before making the stream public or starting the scheduled broadcast.
- When using a scheduled stream, follow the Live Control Room prompts for starting the broadcast after the preview is ready. Confirm that the public watch page is playing the intended feed.

4. Set the encoder quality and connection
YouTube recommends RTMPS, an encrypted extension of RTMP. Its general encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265 (HEVC), or AV1 video; AAC or MP3 audio; constant bitrate; frame rates up to 60 fps; and a two-second keyframe interval, which should not exceed four seconds. Choose a resolution and frame rate your source footage, encoder, and upload connection can sustain. A higher setting is not automatically better if it causes dropped frames or unstable delivery.

For H.264 at 1080p30, YouTube’s settings table lists 5 Mbps as the minimum bitrate and 14 Mbps as the recommended bitrate. Those are YouTube’s published ingest recommendations, not a promise about a viewer’s playback quality. YouTube also recommends upload bandwidth above the total stream bitrate, leaving about 20% headroom; other devices and users on the same network can reduce the bandwidth actually available to the encoder. Use upload speed—not download speed—to plan the connection.

5. Test before relying on a continuous broadcast
Run a test using representative tour footage, including scenes with movement, and listen carefully to Hindi narration and any music. YouTube advises creators to continuously monitor streams for audio and video quality. Before launch, check the Live Control Room preview and stream-health indicators; also test the public watch page and mobile playback if viewers are likely to watch on phones.
- Look for stutter, dropped frames, unexpected black frames, or a mismatch between the encoder output and the preview.
- Check that narration is intelligible, captions are timed correctly if used, and audio does not clip or disappear between playlist items.
- If you record locally as a backup, verify that the recording file exists and continues growing during the test.
- Test playlist transitions and the encoder’s behavior when one video ends. Confirm that the next tour starts as intended rather than leaving a blank feed.
6. Plan stream boundaries, archives, and continuity
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its encoder guidance does not promise automatic archiving for a stream longer than 12 hours, and it does not guarantee uninterrupted operation for a 24/7 schedule. For a continuous channel, plan scheduled stream boundaries and restarts rather than assuming one broadcast can run indefinitely. Keep separate master or local recordings if you need dependable copies of the tours, and check that those files remain intact.

Decide who will monitor the feed, how they will respond if the encoder or connection stops, and when any planned restart will occur. If you need a true always-available presence, distinguish that operational goal from YouTube’s documented stream and archive behavior: a live encoder workflow by itself is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service.
Common problems and fixes
- Live streaming is unavailable: Check that the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restriction during the prior 90 days. If you have only just enabled live streaming, activation may take up to 24 hours.
- YouTube receives no video: Recheck that the encoder has the correct stream URL and key from the intended Live Control Room stream. Keep the key private, and regenerate or replace it if it may have been exposed.
- Preview is unstable or stream health is poor: Check upload bandwidth and competing network use. YouTube recommends roughly 20% headroom above the total stream bitrate. Reduce the encoder bitrate or resolution if the connection cannot sustain the current output.
- Video or audio looks wrong in preview: Test the source file and encoder output separately. Confirm the selected video and audio codecs, constant bitrate setting, keyframe interval, and audio track; retest with a representative clip before going live.
- The playlist stops or shows a blank frame: Check the encoder’s file-loop or playlist settings and test the transition between files. YouTube’s workflow receives the encoder feed; looping behavior depends on the encoder you choose.
- No archive appears: Check the stream duration and do not rely on automatic archiving for broadcasts longer than 12 hours. Maintain a separate local or master recording when you need a reliable copy.
