If Disney bills you directly, cancel Disney+ in a web browser: go to DisneyPlus.com, sign in, then choose Profile → Account → your Disney+ subscription → Cancel Subscription. Follow the prompts and save the confirmation. If another company bills you—such as Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, or a phone or cable provider—you generally need to cancel through that company instead.
Deleting the Disney+ app does not cancel a subscription. First find the biller, then cancel before the next renewal deadline.
1. Find out who bills your Disney+ subscription
Before canceling, check the billing source. The email address you use to watch Disney+ may not be the account that pays for it.

- Open Profile → Account and look under Subscription.
- Check whether the page names Disney or directs you to a billing partner. If you do not see a subscription, check the original welcome email or renewal receipt, the relevant app-store or provider account, and your bank or card statement.
Search your email for “Disney+,” “subscription,” “renewal,” and “receipt.” Also check other Apple IDs or Google Accounts you may have used. A missing subscription can mean you are signed into the wrong Disney account, the wrong billing-platform account, or a different account is being charged.

Disney’s subscription-management guidance explains that some subscribers are sent to their billing partner to manage billing or plan changes. Its subscriber agreement says third-party-billed subscriptions must be canceled according to the partner’s instructions.
2. Cancel if Disney bills you directly
- Open DisneyPlus.com/account/cancel-subscription in a computer or mobile browser and sign in.
- Select Profile → Account.
- Under Subscription, select the Disney+ subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription, then complete the confirmation prompts.
- Save the confirmation screen or email and note the date access is due to end.
These are Disney’s current direct-cancellation steps. Use a browser; the steps are not a promise that a cancel control will be available in every TV or mobile app. Check the account page for the next billing date. Disney’s agreement says cancellation must be made by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the day before the next recurring billing date to avoid that renewal charge. Allow time to complete the prompts and retain proof.
Removing your payment method is not a substitute for canceling. The subscription can remain active until it is canceled through the biller.

3. Cancel through a billing partner
Apple
If Apple billed you, manage the subscription through the Apple Account that made the purchase, rather than assuming the Disney+ app can cancel it. On an iPhone or iPad, the usual route is Settings → your name / Apple Account → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel Subscription. Apple’s interface labels can change; use its subscription-cancellation instructions if the options look different. If Disney+ is not listed, check other Apple Accounts and the receipt.
Google Play
Use the Google Account that purchased the subscription:
- Android: Open Google Play → Subscriptions → select Disney+ → Cancel subscription, then follow the prompts.
- Web: Open Google Play subscriptions → find Disney+ → Manage → Cancel subscription, then choose a reason and continue.
Follow Google’s cancellation instructions. Uninstalling Disney+ does not cancel its subscription. If it is missing, check other Google Accounts; not every Disney+ subscription is billed through Google Play.

- If you believe that your Card has been lost or stolen, notify Mastercard immediately by calling 1-833-791-7288. You will be asked to provide the Gift Card number and other identifying information.
- Use your Mastercard Gift Card in the U.S. everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted, including online. Your Amazon.com Balance cannot be used to purchase Mastercard gift cards.
Amazon
If Amazon processed the payment, sign in to the Amazon account shown on the receipt and look for Disney+ in the account’s memberships or subscriptions area. Amazon’s menu wording and the specific subscription channel can vary, so follow the account’s management link or Amazon customer help. If you cannot find the subscription, use the receipt to identify the Amazon account and billing arrangement before contacting support.
Roku
Check Roku’s subscriptions page and the billing instructions shown in your Disney+ account. Roku’s current policy has a Disney+-specific complication: it points subscribers to Disney for Disney+ management, even while it provides a general Roku subscription-management route. See Roku’s policy. If Roku and Disney direct you to each other, contact both with your billing receipt, transaction ID, and the last four digits of the payment method. Deleting the Disney+ channel from Roku does not establish that billing is canceled.
Hulu, a carrier, cable, internet, or another provider
If your Disney+ account or receipt identifies Hulu, a wireless carrier, cable or internet provider, or another company as the biller, use that provider’s account or customer support to cancel. Keep the receipt and ask the provider to confirm the cancellation date. Do not assume Disney can stop a subscription that the partner controls.

4. Check carefully if you have a Disney Bundle
“Cancel Disney+” can mean different things when Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN are part of a bundle. Identify the bundle’s biller and the subscriptions shown in its account before changing anything.
- Standalone Disney+: Cancel that subscription with its biller.
- Disney+, Hulu, and/or ESPN bundle: Find out whether Disney, Hulu, or a third party bills the bundle. Canceling one service or an older subscription does not necessarily cancel the bundle or every service in it.
- An older Hulu or ESPN subscription upgraded to a bundle: Disney says bundle access can continue after the original subscription is canceled, but a credit associated with that original subscription may end. Check the specific account terms and biller.
- Separate subscriptions: Cancel each one with its own biller if you want to stop every charge.
Use Disney’s guidance on existing Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN subscriptions. Do not treat cancellation of one item as confirmation that the entire bundle or any separately billed service has ended.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors5. What happens after you cancel?
For most directly billed subscriptions, cancellation switches off renewal; it does not immediately remove access. Disney says access generally continues through the end of the current subscription term, so a monthly or annual subscriber can usually watch until the paid period ends. Check the account page for the displayed expiration date or status.

Free trials, promotional codes, credits, and other special plans can have different rules, including access ending sooner. Third-party providers may also apply their own terms. Cancellation does not delete your Disney+ or MyDisney account; account deletion is a separate action.
Refunds
Do not assume you will receive a refund for unused time. Disney’s agreement generally excludes refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, although it may grant one case by case. A third-party biller may have its own refund rules. Request a refund from the company that processed the charge, and do not count on a prorated refund for an annual plan.
6. Want a temporary break instead?
Some monthly subscriptions billed directly by Disney may offer a pause. In a browser, go to Profile → Account → Disney+ subscription → Pause Subscription, choose a duration, and confirm. Disney says the pause takes effect on the first day of the next billing period; not all plans qualify. Review the displayed terms so you know when billing may resume. If the subscription reaches the end of its term, you may need to subscribe again rather than restart it. See Disney’s cancellation and pause guidance.

Work through these checks before assuming cancellation is complete:
- Use a browser and check Profile → Account → Subscription, rather than relying only on the TV app.
- Look for a named billing partner or link that directs you elsewhere.
- Check whether the account already shows an expiration date or scheduled cancellation.
- Confirm you are signed into the Disney account associated with the original receipt, then check relevant Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Hulu, and provider accounts.
- Search email for the receipt and renewal notice. Check your card or bank statement for the merchant name and compare it with the account or receipt.
- If a partner billed you, contact that partner. If Disney bills you directly and the cancel control is missing or errors, contact Disney+ support.
If a charge appears after cancellation, compare its date with the cancellation confirmation and effective date. It may have been processed before cancellation took effect, followed a missed renewal deadline, come from another account or biller, or relate to a separate Hulu, ESPN, or bundle subscription. Contact the company that processed the charge with the transaction date, amount, account email, and cancellation evidence; ask it to explain the charge and any refund options. Do not assume a charge is unauthorized until you have checked for a second account or subscription.
