The clearest bridge between all three is WandaVision: it reveals who Agatha is and develops Wanda’s Scarlet Witch identity, while Marvel announced that the Doctor Strange film would connect to the events of the series. Marvel’s official materials cited here do not establish a direct Agatha role in the film.
How the three stories connect
| Connection | Whose story continues | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| WandaVision to Agatha All Along | Agatha Harkness | WandaVision reveals that the neighbor Agnes is Agatha. Her solo series picks up with her powerless and freed from a distorted spell, then sends her and a newly gathered coven onto the Witches’ Road. Marvel’s official series page and its behind-the-scenes feature establish these story points. |
| WandaVision to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness | Wanda Maximoff | Marvel’s 2020 announcement said the film would connect to the events of WandaVision. Marvel’s Wanda Maximoff character page lists her in both works. The relevant character background is Wanda’s developing power and Scarlet Witch identity in WandaVision. |
| Agatha All Along to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness | No direct Agatha continuation is established here | The official sources cited here do not establish that Agatha appears in or drives the Doctor Strange film’s plot. Their shared connection is through the wider MCU and, most clearly, WandaVision. |
What WandaVision sets up
WandaVision first presents Wanda and Vision in idealized suburban lives, then reveals that events in Westview are not what they seem. Its final episodes bring Wanda into conflict with Agatha, whose Agnes persona had placed her close to the action.
Agatha’s role also gives Wanda a concrete lesson. In Marvel’s analysis of the series’ rune story, Agatha is described as a teacher of sorts: she explains how runes can prevent witches from using magic within a protected area. Wanda applies that lesson against Agatha, defeats her, and accepts the Scarlet Witch identity. That development is important context for Wanda’s place in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
How Agatha All Along continues Agatha’s story
Agatha All Along is a direct character follow-up, not a story required to explain the Doctor Strange film. Marvel’s official series page describes Agatha setting out with a newly assembled coven on the Witches’ Road, a sequence of trials that promises a witch what she lacks if she survives. The series is credited to creator and showrunner Jac Schaeffer and lists September 18, 2024, as its release date.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That premise grows out of the ending of WandaVision: Agatha is no longer simply the neighbor manipulating events in Westview, but the central character of her own story. Marvel’s making-of feature documents the Agnes-to-Agatha reveal. In that feature, actor Kathryn Hahn describes the character’s true center as “a fantastical witch.”
What Marvel’s Doctor Strange connection means—and does not mean
Marvel’s 2020 announcement said Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness “will connect the events” of WandaVision. That is evidence of an announced WandaVision link, not a scene-by-scene explanation of the finished film or proof of an Agatha crossover. Marvel’s character page independently associates Wanda with both WandaVision and the Doctor Strange film.
