Meanwhile, Daphne and Oz continue following leads connected to Morgan’s missing husband, Roman. Captain Nick Wagner arrives to lead a unit working under those higher personal stakes. The season therefore has more serialized momentum than a purely case-of-the-week drama, without abandoning the format that makes the series approachable episode to episode.
Expect weekly or semi-standalone investigations alongside that larger arc.
